Snark Busters: Welcome to the Club (FROG)
I've read a lot about this game, so I was expecting something rather... snarky *giggle* Snarky indeed! You play the prankster daughter of a social bigwig who does not approve of his daughter's "unseemly" behavior.
The first thing I noticed was the funky, upbeat music. Very fun, and sets the tone for the game nicely, so I left it on. The intro scene goes very fast - I wasn't able to read one of the sentences, but it doesn't matter, I got the gist of it (I'll go back and read that one sentence later).
You automatically start out in Tutorial mode, but you can skip it with the click of a button. As a matter of fact, it can be adjusted in the menu. There are separate sliders for Sound and Music, plus the option of Full Screen, Custom Cursor and "Enable Hints". Very nice touch being able to turn the hints on and off, if you wish! There is also a refillable HINT button.
The graphics are stunning - really nice, and they suit the game so well! lol~ I generally am not a fan of FROGs, but this is a very entertaining and well-done game, and I am enjoying it very much. It does not have "hidden object" scenes the way Briar Rose does - every scene has objects hidden in it... or fragments of objects, anyway.
Something I really like about this FROG is that when you find all of the pieces of the object(s) you're looking for, they automatically assemble themselves and show back up in the same toolbar - no going back and forth between to-find bar and inventory bar. VERY convenient, an excellent addition to the game.
There is no random-click penalty, which is a good thing since you have to move things out of the way to find what you're looking for sometimes.
This is not a hard game, but is challenging enough (and funny enough) to be a lot of fun! 15 minutes into the demo, and I'm buying already

Ditto to what most of you have said.
This game is brilliant, amusing, slightly challenging, of good length & well worth the $$$.
I do hope the sequal will follow soon. This is one of my most favourite games

Brilliant, brilliant game and ORIGINAL!!!
I think its easier to do a haunted house storyline then a none haunted house story. So top marks for getting the right balance with fun, storyline, game play and dialogue, art work was excellent, even in the second scene of being on the balcony, the view of a area with the flying zepplins, it looks fun to explore the surrounding areas (not boring shops etc), Top marks for originality.
Done, what has been hard to get the right balance, excellent flow of the game and fun, hopefully you don't ruin the next series, have really shown other game developers how its done, this is the way to make a game, hopefully they'll realise they have impressed with the game, and you don't need to change a thing, just more fun storyline, scenes etc.
I don't think the name Snark Busters:Welcome to the Club promoted the game well, though.
It was engaging right from the first scene, enjoying it, and funny. I would be looking forward to the next game on this series.

I have now finished playing this game, which took nearly 5 hours for me to complete. I enjoyed it all from start to finish.
With this game you don't just do "small" things in order to progress, you get to fix and ride a train/tram, you even get to sink a ship lol.
The artwork was excellent, easy on the eye and enjoyable to look around, I personally enjoy home scenes alot and it was nice to come back to one. .
I'm not fond of tribal scenes, but the the person sleeping was done well, realistically breathing in and out, very good. Don't think anyone has done that before. It fitted with the game to pick up pieces, and not read what to find, as that is too formal, and this fitted in the fun element.
I enjoyed the news updates, that was a reallly good touch to connect to what was going on at home, I enjoyed watching them.
As stated before, I think its easier to make a haunted home story as it automaticaly appeals to people and the story sell itself, so I think it was harder to make this game, it flowed, it was the right length, being able to go through different mirrors, a lovely touch. It was fun, it was an adventure, I thank the developers.

Loved the game! It was interactive; good graphics; plausible and fun story line. It was a good mix of HOs, adventure, strategic thinking, and problem solving. Very enjoyable with good replay value.

Yes, I'm loving this too. I'm as far as the snakes, so on the sixth out of the seven chapters. On a freezing cold day in England, when most of the country is snowbound, and the car won't move, what a great escape! When is the next one coming out please?
