Yeah---Just stay at the bottom and tap away. If a particular color starts to get high, then work on it. And never miss the star!! It knocks out ALL of the DNA colors that you tapped it on. And if you haven't figured it out yet, now you only get one room to search then it's back to DNA, until you make it through all the suspects. So, you will get plenty of practice. I breezed through the DNA---just keep tapping those colors!

can't get pass the stylus interactives at the beginning. I press the dog and then try to draw a line to the paw print and nothing happens. Nothing happens on any of the three things you suppose to find. HELP. What am I doing wrong?

There are two buttons as you are holding the DS, a L and a R. Hold the button down (one or the other depending if you are a leftie or a rightie) and draw the line from one point to the other. Holding the button down connects the two objects. It took me awhile to figure it out too. You will be doing this throughout the whole game as you have to search for objects OR do something to the objects.

I have found that if you just get the objects you are trying to connect in the middle of the screen, then open your box and select the hand, you should be able to draw or connect what you want WITHOUT holding down the Left or Right buttons. I can and it's a lot easier!

If they put it on the computer, then who would buy the DS Game? And what about all the customers(I know cuz I was 1 of them) where their computers are not compatible with alot of the newer games. There were at least 4 HO Games and Azada 2 and Rooms (ALL IN ABOUT A MONTH) that were not compatible w/ my Windows 2000. I had the space for the games but it was other small things (like- no updates available for my sound/ video cards) that prevented me from playing. So, I just happen to have a DS and "that's not fair?" I am sure Big Fish has a contract with Nintendo NOT to include it in PC Games. Maybe down the road someday, but this was for DS players and any true MCF/ BF customers. So buy a DS. I guarantee you it will cost you less than it cost me to update my PC to XP!!

Do you know about MCF: Agent X??

After looking at the MCF demo, I decided to NOT sell my DS yesterday! I did sell my psp and xbox & playstation2.(I still have the 360, wii & playstation3) So last night at 11:00 I started the game & no, it's not as good as a pc game. But it is good enough for a first go at it, and it is an HO & it will keep me entertained when I'm waiting for things or before I go to bed at night or whenever. I saw that another HO is in the works for the DS due to come out in spring 2009 that's 3d somehow. So that tells me more HO's are on the way to the DS.I made the right decision not to sell the DS and to get the MCF game.

I hated the first 2 Nancy Drew games for the DS. They are nothing like the PC games. Very childish and linear. No possibility of exploration, and you don't really even use your stylus(which is one of the reason I love my DS) That said, after not even bothering to finish the first two, I did break down and purchase the 3rd one Nancy Drew Mystery of the Hidden Staircase, hoping that it would be better....what do you know.....it is better! I think it was made by a different developer. Now, having said that.......it's still nothing like the BigFish Mystery Case Files for DS which is awesome.....I still love it....still haven't finished it because I only play a little each night to "savor" it and make it last....Then by the time I'm finished, I will have forgotten the beginning and can begin again......one advantage of old age forgetfulness lol!!!

I think it would be hard to see the items in the HO games...on a DS screen. Is it??

GeeBee, Not hard to see at all.....in fact, I've needed new glasses for over a year now, and I have an easier time seeing the items on my DS than my laptop lol!!! Also, with the stylus, it's so neat to be able to move things around with it rather than using buttons(makes me feel more in control )

Thank you, silvermist, I'll have to check into it more. I saw my gson's this past weekend and the screen was bigger than I thought they were. It would be nice to have one when we travel to and fro...Maybe for Christmas??!!

I received the DS for christmas this past year and I love it . I got the Mystery Case Files "Millionheir" right after it came out. I have already completed it and will be playing it again. I love the mobility of the DS. You can take it with you where ever you go. I love the DS sims games also. I didn't care for the Nancy Drew games on DS either. There are just soooo many different kinds of games for the DS for every age level and likes.

That was actually Liv Tyler playing with her sister using the multiplayer functionality in the game.

Are there other HO games for DS? I have Million Heir and it's GREAT! I also have Nancy Drew and the hidden staircase which is merely okay. What other adventure and/Ho style games are out there for DS. Any recomendations? (I want to order Myst for DS)

Spyque, there are no other HO games for the ds (yet.) some of them I like are:

Animal crossing wild world(I know that sounds funny from a 52 year old, but I've been playing it for a couple of years and have my mom who's 74 hooked on it too lol!)
Purr Pals(if you like cats or animal games...very interactive)
Professor Layton and the curious village(puzzle game)
Jewel Quest games,
Clubhouse games(Lots of games from solitarie to bowling....fun to play with hubby)
Paint by DS(painting game not available in US yet I think)
WordJong,
Fish Tycoon,
Nintendogs,(Super great breeds....I have Yorkies who act just like my own lol!)
Lost in Blue 2(adventure game. It's really fun with lots of exploring, but I finally purchased the cheat device because you need to keep 2 people alive with packing food for exploration and it was so hard...cheat device works great
Zelda is a great adventure game, but I couldn't beat even the first "boss," so the cheat device works on the bosses and now I can go and play the adventure without the stress!!!
I don't like any of the Nancy Drew games.
Sims 2 games are kinda fun the island one is the best....haven't finished, but navigating and exploring is fun.
I don't buy the "movie games" because they are all kinda clone games and mostly fighting which I don't like.
Brain Age is fun
I have Myst on my pocket pc and it's so small it's almost impossible, but I haven't thought about trying it on the ds. Please let me know how it works if you get it for the ds k?

Hope that gets you started. I would love to see BF make more HO games for the ds.....I never have any problems with it like I do from time to time with my laptop.

I'd also LOVE to see some jigsaw puzzles made for the ds. !!!
