I was just playing the game again and noticing how much fun and beautiful this game is. I am hoping that the powers that be will finish this game soon. I still look every day to see if there is an update, even though I do not expect one.

OK, I am one of the 3000. I find the decision to stop updating AK sad and disheartening. I played a few of the other 'free' games and stopped them, because they just weren't as much fun as this one. I have over 100 purchased games from BF over about 5/6 years. Way too many to keep track of. I am still a member and pay money every month. I do not find that many games coming out that I enjoy. I used some of my game credits to purchase the other AK games. They are fine and I may go back to replay them. But I do HATE being left hanging with no resolution to this game.
So, I have added my name to the list of people unhappy with this decision - and I hope I have done it without being rude and disrespectful to anyone.

OMG!!! I came on today to find out when then next update will be only to find this thread stating that AK is no more. I have spent quite a bit of money on the game itself and with BFG have purchaed over 125 games. I noted that you as the moderator has no input with the developers of this game, but surely you should have some input as to whether or not they keep the game going. Surely, you should at least be able to suggest that they 'finish' off what they started and allow it to 'run its course' as opposed to just stopping with half way.... for example, the collection of books, to be able to get into the room opposite. I am at a loss for words. Why doesn't BFG give them say 10 or 20 cents from the monies you collect each month from all of your subscribers so that they can continue developing the game???

according to BZ BFG is in complete control of all rights to this game that BZ no longer has any say to it because BFG has purchased the rights of this game and have not re-newed their contract for BZ to continue development of plot
there for BFG gets ALL the revenue and should atleast build a new department within their company Fill it with Game Coding (geeks) specialist who can continue the game from where it sits now And I will say it again and again hopefully they will finally get off their big fat bottoms and put a team together to finish this game I am tired of all the crap sayings that they are not responsible for the way it ended they are too and they need to make it right stop offering the game for download to new unsuspecting gammers it is rude and very unperfessional

I have just sent an email directly to BZ Games. Maybe you all might like to do the same? Their email address is in the email below.... Hopefully, if they get enough emails from us all, they might reconsider (am I deluding myself???)

As you can see from above it doesn’t really tell us anything..... Did you respond???? If so, what is it because I can’t find any sort of explanation a

acerb I hate to offend you but you seam to be new not old to game us older more loyal players are just as upset if not more so and the BS lines are ongoing BFG claims its not up to them you go to BZ they claim that its not them its BFG
If you read between the lies and look up the info on the two sites outside, of mediators you will see BIG Fish Games is a BIG cooperative in business for many years while Boomzap is a Small company of just Developers who have to rely on Big coops to help get their materials out to the public BY Selling off game rights and contracting with them
If their contract is not renewed by the bigger cooperation for a game they have sold the rights to then they can no longer have access to that game to further develop said game
WHICH IS what has happened apparently in the case of AK BFG would not renew the contract with BZ for the AK game there for it IS BFG's Fault we have NO more UPDATES

Totally ruthless and very unprofessional to still be selling this game on BF's site with no notice that there is no ending to the game..........and BF does not give a darn regards of what anyone here says. The mods just repeat the same ole same ole story what is printed out for them to say hoping that we will all go away and leave them in peace so that they can go on selling AK and making money off the blind customers that believe in them. Isn't this wrong in some way? Are there laws saying you can't sell something without it being complete, like why buy half a book with no ending or a dress with no bottom or a car with no brakes..........something is not right here, not right at all.

Today I decided to see if there was anything new in the forum about the game. I guess I should have checked two months ago! Sad that it will not continue, but not surprised.

It was a good game while it lasted so thanks for letting me enjoy it for a while.

acerb, that would be a great idea. But, as madrabbit states, BF is in control of all of this. My gut feeling is that BoomZap would love to complete the game they started, if their publisher, BF hadn't decided for some misguided reason that it was in their best interest to dump their developer and stab all the players in the back in such an unprofessional and covert manner. BF is the employer. BZ is the employee. If you want to direct a letter or an appeal somewhere, it should go to Big Fish. If you do, I'd love to know if you get an answer, because I doubt you will. And as for BZ developing Android games for the Asian market, kudos to them for having a backup plan. It's pretty easy to figure out what is going on, if for no other reason than BF's silence in the matter.

It's pretty clear to me who I believe. Allan is one of the owners of BoomZap. He gave you a straight-forward response, nothing less than I would expect of his fine company.

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to remind Forum users of the Forum Rules specifically,

Keep private matters private. Do not repost or discuss any private messages or emails you receive from other forum users, moderators, or Customer Support. Protect the privacy of other forum users by keeping real names and emails out of public posts.

As has been mentioned in another thread, the decision for no longer updating Awakening Kingdoms was a difficult one. For this to be reversed, both the developer and our teams would need to be involved.

The Moderation Team continues to advocate for the players as well as share all the feedback that has been presented in the Forums to the appropriate teams. Once any information has been communicated to the Moderation Team, we will update the Forums for all the users.

Could one of the mods tell me on whose server the iPad version resides?

According to the BFG website, on the About Us page:

After successfully transitioning from a PC-centric to a mobile-centric company, Big Fish has emerged as a top grossing mobile publisher worldwide with a portfolio that includes the #1 mobile social casino game, Big Fish Casino.

Since mobile games have to be sold through Apple, or Google, or Amazon, are we downloading from servers owned by those companies? When we play, whose server are we connected to?

Staying connected to the server in this game and ART is a freaking joke.

In AK, I have completed quests that I KNOW trigger subsequent ones (I'm playing the game in tandem on my iPad and PC), and while the PC version is issuing the next quest, the iPad version is not.

I agree with all the players who are unhappy that no updates will be made. I am on level 62 and there are no quests left to accomplish. What incentive is there to continue playing.

Also, BFG left me holding 452 crystals, some I worked very hard to get and others I paid for, not to mention the thousands of items I have accumulated over the months. Do any of the other "KINGDOM" games use the crystals. If so, I think BFG should transfer what they left us holding or refund the money we spent on purchasing crystals. Your "endless games" have lost credibility. Why would we want to start another game and wait for the axe to fall on it too.

As far as I know, no other game in the series uses the crystals. Most likely you will be left with just the crystals and nothing to do with them.

As a long time member of Big fish, at least 10yrs and the hundreds of games I have bought, (I call them my coffee table games, cheap and easy to get through), AK was innovative, addictive, and I finished the game last year, ( only feeding damn chest and bored with that)... been waiting and waiting for the updates, at least let us finish game properly, what happened to the Mermaid, and the other levels of the Dark Tower....I spent money on this game buying diamonds, what a waste of time that was, all that money and nothing to play or show, I might have well as given my money to a homeless person, then I wouldnt have felt ripped off. I have nearly finished game which I cant complete..... at least with my bought games from BF I can play when I want. I still have my membership but have 5 games in waiting as the games you are producing are not to the Big Fish standard of yester years, if I shut down my membership, do I lose those game credits, as there is nothing I want to play/buy. Your HOG games are virtually all the same, dark, creepy and gloomy, or so easy, I can play with my eyes just about shut. No real good TM out there at the moment. So back to FB games and if anyone wants a great little game to play try Diggy's adventure, hard at first, but once you understand the dynamics it is so addictive....Bye Bye Big Fish, off to check my account and see how long my paid for credits last.

I spent money, real money, on this game which is essentially a dud so how do I get a refund?

I don`t want a refund
with that money from everyone who is asking for a refund they could use it to compleet the game, i think you all agree with me.
I still have hope.
