why isn't the lamp knob where it is supposed to be?

I'm in the stables, in the hayloft, in the hidden object scene...and no lamp knob. I went to the walk through so I know where it is "supposed" to be. So why can't I see it?

I couldn't find it either.

When you have the scalpel used to cut the painting from the wall in the hidden room, you can also use it to open the bag. However, the lamp knob is not IN that bag - something else you'll need is.

The lamp knob is upstairs in the barn at the back near the window in a HOG scene.

Reinstalling the game fixed the "glitch"

How do u reinstall game without losing progress?

It is in the hidden object scene but you can't take it! I am having the same problem with that and the gears!

I am also having this problem with the lamp knob. Additionally, I don't seem to be able to access the HOG that results in getting the gears. Has anyone figured out how to resolve this without reinstalling? Or is there a way to reinstall without losing progress?

I'm also having the same problem. I have deleted the game 2 times and reinstalled it only to still have the same problem. I really don't want to start the game over for a 3rd time. Anyone have any suggestions.

I'm having the same trouble. There isn't a HOG in the loft anymore. As a matter of fact, I've done everything I can everywhere. No hidden games anywhere.

It turns out that the iPad version is not the same as the walkthrough..... go to the mansion foyer and break through the door on the left..... not the 2 doors on the right.....it takes you to a whole new set of rooms (and tools).
