Westward 3 - lumberjacks challenge

Is there anyone out there that could help me with the bridge lost lumberjacks challenge I keep running out of reasourses/time as all my buildings keep subsiding because of the flood. I know that there are help for the 5th lumberjack but I can't get that far! HELP!!!

I got through this but not sure what all I did now. I think built 2 tents for more ppl to work.
Rescue one and then have them either get gold or wood, which ever you are lowest on. If there are fish, have someone fish so there doesn't have to be anyone working at the farm until the fish run out. Rescue the second, and so on. Do not try and rescue in the order they show the lost lumberjacks. I suck at remembering details but I hope this helps you to try again.

Currently I"m stuck finding the largest tree and the hidden treasure. I"m seasick from playing the game all day long. LOL

I found one of the most key elements to this puzzle was to immediatly put both of the 2 people who are available when you get there on one of other of the lumber mills. Otherwise you will run out of wood and have no way to build bridges.

I dont remember specifics from there but I know I built a bridge way up north and saved that lady then used dynamite to get down to the lower lady. Then I built a bridge to get across to the island with all the supplies.

At any time you can build a bridge to get the supplies, the guy and the lady who all need their own bridges from the beach.

Also one mistake I kept gettings tuck on was that once you can get in the water and blow up 2 sets of rocks the last guy is free. I kept trying to figure out how to get a bridge to him but he doesnt use a bridge at all just blow up rocks in the water so he can walk out.

So I have figured out how to get all the supplies, the 2 ladies way north (by blowing up the "dam" and walking up the hill to the last lady wayyy up north there..

My delimma is this: There is 1 lumber jack still stuck just across on the left hand side by where the panning mine or whatever is..

I can't build any bridges to get to him..i've tried EVERY single space available. I have no rocks to blow up either. There are the little red barrels that set the perimeter basically that won't allow me to go any further south/north/east/west etc.

Does anyone know which lumberjack i'm speaking of, and if so how can I get him out? I read that he walks all the way around or something from the other 2 that are "stuck" on that island down in the town you create? But I honestly have NO clue.. I have enough to build another bridge and such but totally stumped. Do I have to complete the build the cabin for the guy up on the right / east side of the lumber mill there?

I really would appreciate if anyone could help me out. I can't play (sniff) (sniff) until i get that lumberjack rescued!!

There is a ramp on the north side of the island that you can just walk up onto once you blow up the rocks in the water near it. It's kind of hard to see but it is there.

That's not the right lumber jack i'm trying to rescue. I figured out that I have to blow up 2 sets of rocks, walk through them then, then up to the ramp to get the 1 lumber jack. He's on the Island that has the big boulder blocking the way to get the supplies on the other side, correct? Yea, that one was rescued 2nd or somewhere in there..

There's a small river area. The panning mine is in the water right there. When you first start out the quest, it's the area right to your LEFT. The 1 lumberjack is stuck on that HUGE Island and there are NO ramps, No bridge can be built or placed anywhere to rescue him. The only thing i've found is old rail road track that needs to be repaired, but I don't have that open to go to that Island.

I have no idea how to rescue this guy.. i'm still completely stuck! What am I missing? This is getting really frustrating! Then, If i accept the "build the log cabin" quest, it says you can't build a log cabin w/o a lumber yard thingy.. so i try to build that and it just sinks along with everything else! UGH! It's not fun when you're this stuck!

HHmmmm....Is he the one you have to access via the ramp in the river way down at the bottom of the map?

you have to build 2 bridges to his island. 1 to get to the supply side of the island and one to get to him.

Well.. i'm a dummy.. Hersheejess was correct.. I clicked my hero because I was getting sooo frustrated and then clicked next to the lumber jack dude.. and VIOLA! My hero walked up the dang nappin ramp and rescued him.

NOW.. i'm back in my town and need to rescue the 2 on the island. Thing is, I had to build a saw mill. Now I don't have enough gold to build the bridges. All the gold was mind in the rocks that i could, picked up all the gold off the ground and can't build or use the panning mines in the river (3 of them all owned by that one jerky dude that comes in and states that everyone must leave because he owns all of the land and california, but only owns the rivers for some odd reason) I don't have a gold mine yet so I can't mine in the hills. What do you do? I have 38 gold on hand. If I could build that 1 bridge i could get over to the other side there and there's more gold over there, but can't!! Earthquake damaged my buildings and w/o enough money to repair them, everyone has left so my pop is down to 11 ROFL.. I think i'm just going to end up starving and killing all my towns people ROFL.. so, don't move in by me!

I'm so completely lost. Someone asked me in my last post how many of them I could rescue in order to help me. Thing is - I can rescue the one guy you can walk to. Other than that, I can build the one bridge to the guy where there's a separation in the island so you can either reach him OR the dynamite/gold.

Reading these posts I'm stumped. I only have 1 lumber mill - but it sounds like others have 2? I can't figure out how to access the dam to blow it. The second I build a shop to buy the dynamite I get 1 stick and it sinks. There's absolutely no way that I can find to build a bridge to the island full of supplies and I blew up the rocks around it and there's no ramp.

I'm getting REALLY Frustrated. This is day 4 on this same flipping challenge. Someone PLEASE help.

As far as I remember you can get to the supplies before you rescue the last lumberjacks (but I have to admit that I am not absolutely sure about that).

I only had one lumber mill, too, and didn't need to build a store. Your hero can go and get gold on the little gold or silver mines and wood from the logs. Use your first villagers to work at the lumber camp (there are two camps and one lumber mill) or the panning mine in the river to get some supplies.

I was actually able to save all the lumberjacks. It was not as hard as I made it seem. I did realize that some of the gold or dynamite(for me) was not a neccessity and was not even an issue.

I am stuck with the lumberjacks. I have read 1 other post and was able to get 3 lumberjacks saved. I am still confused on the 2 ladies that need to be saved. I may be building bridges that do not need to be built but I have become frustrated as well. Is there anyone that has more simplified instructions as well as landmarks to assist in the comprehension.
