Hello all, this is an amazing game, keeps me going for hours just like it Westward 1 and 2! I was wondering if anyone knew if it was worth doing the smuggling resources quest? they just seem to be taking all my resources!

Dont talk to him till you have a LOT of supplies. He is greedy and keeps comming back for more.

Great game, but no-one will move to my town! I have houses, food, water, saloon but no-one is coming to me...why not??

When I try to start the game I get a message that says display change failed and the game won't start. Any suggestions? I have Windows Vista.

I too can get no one to move to my town. I have it all and they still wont come. What can I do?

Are you up to 15 citizens? You can't move past 15 if you don't have a sheriff's office and sheriff.

I really love the Westward games but I wish the designers would make an option you can choose for untimed play. Perhaps harder to complete taks but no time limits. I like to explore the areas and spend time watching things grow and trying different things. I just find the timed tasks frustrating and unenjoyable. I'm doing the store/trading post challenge now and can't get past the wood supply section so far. I find it annoying.

How do I hire another gun slinger?

As per the timed challenges, yes it's harder and VERY frustrating...I just save a lot and go do something else until my temper (and sore wrists) cools down.

P.S. just grow 3 carrot farms and the white rabbit will show up...treat him gently !!

I'm at the point where I have to build bridges but run out of resources to save everyone. When I build a bridge it says can't build there. What am i doing wrong?

You can only build structures on unobstructed ground!! That means if there's a little dip or a pebble in the way you can't build anything in that particular spot. Try another area.

I have saved the town and now i have to blow up the blockade but my genereal store will not sell me the dynamite. Its says to unlock dynamite with experience on the store page. How do I get more experience.

Thanks. I love this game but the Trading Post Challenge is frusterating me. It won't let me collect beyond 20 Food for the Old Guy. I even built a General Store, bought dynomite and got the food where the guard dog was all within 3 minutes but still my food count would only go to 20 and it needs to be 25. Thanks again.

my game crashed...so I removed it and then downloaded again...and it starts to load and the gives me the option to abort or try again!!! Why me I am addicted. Any suggestions. Played the game for hours without trouble.

Since I'm not sure where you are at, I can only advise to go back to your main game and do the Trading Post challenges or the Sheriff's Office challenges for additional skill points. Good luck.
