Lost my gloves for the gear in the red paint??? Help

I had them and used them and now they're gone but I need them to get the gear out of the red paint.

Wow, I must have really done something wrong ... I guess I'm going to start a new profile

Why are you thinking that you must start over? I lost the glove too in the paint. But I am sure there will be anorther glove coming. (I hope)

Please let me know if you find one - I couldn't do anything after that :-(

I didn't lose it in the paint ... I lost it before that but I can't remember how because I have short term memory loss lol

Happened to me also. I made the mistake of using the glove while in the sewer to wipe away the dust and cobwebs. But by doing so I lost the glove and was left hanging by the red paint bucket. Start over with a new profile but this time only use your hand to wipe away the mess, leaving the glove to use on the red paint bucket. Hope this helps.

I had a feeling it was because I did that - thanks so much - will just wipe away spiderwebs with my bare hand -- arrgggh ewwwww my worst nightmare LOL Thanks again!!!

I have also lost the gloves but this is in the very final chapter.

ETA: Please ignore this. Apparently, the glitch is in my brain. I was on the wrong chapter of the strategy guide. That's what happens when you stay up too late playing.

know how you feel about the spiderwebs and creepy crawlies, scott7. they freak me out too. and it seems like some of the game creators have a fiendishly wicked sense of humor when it comes to those things. where's my raid?

wait - if you use your glove to wipe away the spiderwebs, you HAVE TO START OVER? omg, I already had to start over once because in the first scene it locked up when I got a knob or valve or something, then the item disappeared and was no longer available.

Yeah this is a game fail for me and dang it i just bought it 15 minutes ago.
