Does anyone know how long it will take for the normal non collectors edition version to come out?

I've noticed games come out with collectors edition and then some time later the original game comes out. I'd rather wait and be able to use a code for the game rather than spend $20 i dont have on it. So I was just wondering if anyone knew how long it would be till the normal version came out.

It can take up to 3 months too! Check out other collector's editions then search for thier SE counterparts. Look when the forum was created for the SE and you have your answer. Most are 5-8 weeks I've found.
