I Need A Key

I managed to get the key out of the cage then a bit further along was another locked gate. Dracana said "I need a key!" but I couldn't find it. I tried jumping on the crate, then I tried jumping over the gate. When I managed it there was nowhere to go and I couldn't get back! lol I was just getting into the game too. Any suggestions?

Depending on the level you have to just up on plantforms until you find a switch. Hit it with the whip and it will release the key. Then you can go back to get the key and go through the gate.

if im thinking right u are like on 3-1 its down on bottom of board there will be a western looking guy down there, hit him and get the super whip thing knock out blocks going back to left and key is there, then you can go on. gl. go past like going out of board before that little blob or like round robot thing u fall down to bottom to get it. hold down at ledge and youll see thats its another area at bottom of this board.
