how to get past level 30 when you have enough resources to buy buildings ect?

every time i get to level 30, which has been about 15 times now, it tells me game over when i have more than enough resources to purchase buildings ect with. my total points have been well over 500,000. is there a trick to this game like in cradle of rome or am i doing something wrong? any help from anyone would be great before my wife takes me to the local nuthouse and has ne commited.

Hmmm...that's weird! Unless you have used all your lives, but since you said you have so many points that seems unlikely.
I am at level 94..trying to release the Genie..getting frustrated!!

maybe try unistalling & reinstalling???? Could just be a glich?
