How do I get out of the castle where the wheel and chain are not connected?

I thought maybe it was the hinge bracelet but it won't let me do that

Keep spinning the wheel. You'll see it.

you have to click on the chain and the wheel and then it will allow you to join the two with the hinged bracelet.Hope this helps.

You have to be eagle-eyed on this one. Just keep turning the wheel and look closely for another link to appear between the wheel and the hanging chain. If you pass it, it vanishes until the next time around. This is what you attach the extra link you have aquired to. ( I hate splitting infinitives). I couldn't have found it without Fishie help!
