Sound track problems

When I play, I get repetitions in the sound track, usually of the sound effects. They play over and over and over, even when the trigger for the sound is not present -- for example, I keep hearing "good bye" even when there hasn't been a car on the street, or "How's it going?" when there isn't a car in the showroom, over and over.

Anyone else had that problem?

Yes, me too - it's a problem I've seen reported a few times. It's a shame because the only cure is to quit and reload the game, and it's only a matter of minutes before it starts up again. I've played the game on two different PCs (Vista 64-bit and XP 32-bit) and it happens on both.
