Puzzle Solution Not Working

Has anybody had an issue where the solution to a puzzle doesn't work? I'm at the door puzzle with the seals, but I can't get the door to open. I put them in exactly as the walkthrough says. There's not a time thing I have to do is there?

I'm running XP natively on a Mac, and I'm using the cd version not the one here. I'm wondering if I get the BFG version if that would fix it.

You have found 5 seals but you only need 4 for now.Try swapping 1st and 2nd seals and the door will open[ or it did for me [

I tried that but nothing happened. I even tried downloading the bfg version but that one does the same thing, door won't open. Any fishes out there have any other ideas? It would be nice to get past level one.

Never mind, starting a new game fixed it.
