problems with first job rate mission

[Post New]by Immierald on Oct 6, 11 3:52 AM
After you've gone through all the tutorial missions you somewhere get a mission that involves two small offices.
You have to get a job rating of 230 and a happiness rating of 80 and 2 entertainment buildings..
But I can't the happiness or the job rating up.. I can get buses all I want but it's not helping..
Any help on how to get through this mission?

you have to increase your population by upgrading the houses.

I'm having problems too, I've upgraded all buildings, buses, and houses but my ratings seem to level off. I know I'm missing something, not sure what though..

Me too. I bought both entertainment buildings and upgraded all the houses, bought 4 fully upgraded buses and upgraded both office buildings but I can't get expert on this level. I believe the city is Scopio, Level 7 in Utah.

Took me more than seventy five minutes to get through this level! Just by chance it hit the happiness goal and the jobs goal simultaneously in order to leave this level and get onto the next one!!!

Stuck again now waiting to get to 300 jobs and 3500 daily income!!!

I spent ages struggling and restarting this one - finally got it, although not on expert

The trick is to keep on upgrading your garage and get as many buses as possible. They don't necessarily need upgrading until your population grows, but the more buses the better!

Everything is upgraded and I had all possible buses and even upgraded them completely. Did you have them evenly divided between the entertainment areas and the offices? If not, which had more bus routes?

This is a bit vague guys cause didnt write it down when doin it but I managed it in just under 7 mins.

Try and look at the map in 2 halves.
* Buy 2 buses and send one from the bus stop on the left to the office on the left.
and the other one from the right hand bus stop to the right hand office.
* Buy your theatre.
* Upgrade all the houses on the left bus stop.
* Then add the theatre to each bus route.
* Upgrade buses to green ones.
* Wait for enough money then buy supermarket. Add supermarket onto bus route.
* As the money comes in start upgrading houses on the right but you will have to do them one at a time as money becomes available.
* Buy 2 more buses, replicate the buse routes - DONT send the buses in a circle (or to both bus stops).
* Carry on upgrading houses as money becomes available.
* Upgrade new buses so all buses are green ones.
* Upgrade one office to 1 star.
*And again upgrade, upgrade, upgrade those houses.

Like I said sorry if a bit vague but hope it makes sense.

Bobster's technique worked except I didn't have enough happiness. So I then changed the entertainment bus routes. I made one from one station to the theater than another bus to the other station to the mall and it worked!

Thanks Bob!

This level has been driving me mad. Managed to do it but it kept taking me 11 minutes and I'm a bit of a perfectionist so can't move on until I get expert.

I've been putting all my buses in a big loop going to both offices and entertainment buildings so maybe that's where i've been going wrong. Am going to try Bob's suggestion and hope it works. Thanks.

Have just tried Bobster's method of only routing one bus between two places rather than having every bus go everywhere and just completed it in 4:19. Couldn't believe how much easier it was.

Thank you!! Am off to lie down now.

Independantly I did a simpler version of the one indicated
First thing to do "disable tutorial"
Build the gym near the bottom
Set the first bus to run so that it picks up at the residences, then the office and then the gym. Dont do anything with the second factory when assigning the first bus.
As soon as you have sufficient monies build the theater near the office not being serviced.
Buy second bus and set it to run from residences to office to theatre.
Upgrade both buses.
as soon as you get money upgrade each of the four medium houses.
This takes less than waiting for enough to do the whole thing from the bus stop
as soon as your happiness hits over 80 add two more buses to run from one residence stop to a factory.
Upgrade buses as you can
I completed it in less than six minutes doing as I described.

Djeddy thanks sooo much for the help & info. It was taking me forever just to try to complete it so I kept on restarting the level, unsuccessfully. With your advice I not only completed the level, but finally got the expert score at 7:47. You are a rock star!!!
