I'm not sure what puzzle you are talking about- what's the name of it?

I had to look up the answer to this tricky puzzle in the strategy guide...it goes like this:
The language is counting the small dots on the circle. An example would be: Drag and rotate the dial TWO times to the RIGHT, second step drag and rotate the dial THREE times to the LEFT...and the next two steps following the translation just like before...but watch out the translation changes with every game...it's much better to write down the code and the translation before trying randomly
