Question about Yard Sale Sunnyville

[Post New]by ksweetin on Jan 15, 09 7:06 PM
I was playing the game and instead of getting a check mark and completed I was getting medals (bronze, silver and gold) or superstar. Haven't gotten them since. How do you get these? Are there any other things about the game that I should know?

I bought the game after trying out the trial download. I loved playing it on the trial but felt a little cheated when I just repeated the first two levels. I agree there should be more leeway with the decorating. I enjoyed the game but it is not one that anyone would like to repeat. It is sort of like reading a book and I was left with the feeling of "is that all there is?" Am I expecting to much for my money? If I had to pay full price I would have been very cheated.

I like most of the games I have tried but find them very sparse with instructions. Most of them just assume you know what you are doing. Some of us are new to this.

Hi and welcome,

I bought this game because I like hidden object games. I was not happy about the "decorating" I had to do--that should have been something you could skip(IMO).

The medals you get are based on how quickly and easily you complete the objects you decorate. I loved the characters and would be interested in another game IF I didn't have to do the decorating.

You might want to go to All Games Forums (at top) and find the forum for Yard Sale. There may be more answers to your questions.

Actually I had already read every post about this game hoping to find the answer to my question before I posted but no joy there. I get the feeling I am missing something. I have played the game through twice and still get the same game over and over again. But from some of the responses in the forum I get the impression I am missing something.

I think the difference is whether you're playing in relaxed mode (you get the green check mark when you finish) or timed mode (you get the bronze, silver, or gold depending on how fast you finish).

There is also the Sunnyville Tour mode, where you find every object that each of the characters have for sale. That's the one I do over and over again trying to beat my previous time. There is no decorating, you play each character's sale and get from 80 to 100+ items at each sale. To me this is very relaxing, especially when you are almost through with the character and there are only a few items left and you just click to your hearts content.
