Rainbow Web II - Released on March 14, 2008

Rainbow Web 2 welcomes you again to the wonderful world of the Rainbow Kingdom! The Royal Palace is still in the grip of the Sorcerer Spider, who has weaved a web of spells, making the palace into the last citadel of evil in the magic kingdom. Match gems on webs, play a Hidden Object mini-game, and put together jigsaw puzzles to rid the land of evil.

Love this game. I play it when I need something to do while watching TV. It doesn't take all your attention, is relaxing and challenging. I do wish they'd stick to just the web puzzles and not switch to the lame hidden pieces and picture swapping aspects. Those are boring and take away from the games real purpose, matching 3s.

It'll never replace The Great Tree but it's a nice break from reality nevertheless.

Maybe MoreOver could share how do you get rid of the BLACK dots?

The instructions do not cover this point and it is most frustrating because when they appear you lose - game over. Fortunately I ran into these in the demo so I need not waste my time or money on the real program.

I liked Rainbow I but Rainbow 2 has "improvements" that are new and unexplained.

Thank you

You get rid of the black dots when you remove matches and they drop to the outside layer.

Love the game but absolutly hate the puzzles. Ruins the replay value. Wish there was some way to skip them.

I've finished the first time through, and am hitting the puzzles that I didn't get gold on yet. There doesn't seem to be any way to avoid those jigsaw puzzles, which I find annoying since I've solved them before. Getting gold on the HO puzzles is super easy: you play it once, then immediately play it again while you remember where things are.

Now that I've finished venting, I can mention the things I like. Love the untimed option, and really enjoy trying to figure out how to get the letters off the webs on the harder levels. When I'm just wanting to relax and zone out, I can sit there and make matches as long as I like, but mostly when I play I'm looking for the best matches to make so that I can finish in fewer moves.

I get that I am supposed to match letters that make up words but when I play there are no letters in the first level - so now what do I do. Got a lot of matches and great score but it said time ran out.

This is my problem, too. Where are the letters?
