After starting the game it freezes on the startup screen.

After starting the Arabica game it freezes on the startup screen. The cursor still moves but you can not click on any of the choices. I have to use CtrlAltDel to abort the game. I have the latest version of Directx, the system is XP 4 gig mem. Other BigFish games play just fine. Any ideas would be appreciated.
