Does Anyone Else Like Platformer Games?

[Post New]by no1no3fan on Jan 20, 09 6:53 AM
Is there anyone else out there that likes Platformer Games? I've always wished that Bud Redhead would have come out with a sequel. I bought that game long before BigFish was even a tadpole. It is, by far, the best PC platformer game I have ever played. I'm pretty fond of the Snowy and Grannie's Kitties games too, but I'd love to see another one like Bud Redhead. Of course, I did have to pay full price for it back then. But by golly, it was worth every single penny. I don't really care for the underwater platformers. But the above mentioned games were pretty darned good!

Me! Me! Me! I love Platformer Games.

I tend to replay the Tuttles, Alex Gordon, and Supercow over and over. Turtle Odyssey 2 isn't half bad either but that's underwater which you've stated you don't care for. With the Tuttles - You play on land, sea, and air. The air is most difficult for me which hubby states is because driving a vehicle is involved. *thwacks hubby*

I've always liked Pitfall myself. Even on the Atari2600 (yes, it was a long time ago!) the game was a lot of fun. Then Pitfall was remade for the pc and it became even more popular. The latest and greatest Pitfall was released a couple of years ago with lots of graphics, but it's still a great platform game. I have an old laptop that still runs win98 so I can play my old games.

Just love platformer games. I have all of them I think. Wish there were more of them here. Alex Gorden is I think the last one we've had here.
First thing my grandchildren want to do when they come to see me is play the "Cow" game (Supercow) LOL

It is, was, the last Platformer BFG has offered us in a very long time. It'd be nice if a developer or two would put out a new Platformer for us. Maybe incorporate some of the graphic and design used in the popular HO's and TM's.

The Granny's are excellant Platformer games which prpldva is a huge fan of. I get aggravated with the freakin' ape in those games. THWACK THWACK THWACK!

I still have Bud Redhead on my computer
Would love to see a sequel!!!

It is so old, though...wonder if the developer even writes anymore.

The Grannys are not my favorite either. I seem to get lost with all the kitties tagging along after her. LOL I did enjoy the Beetle Bug games and turtle oddessys but I like the pace of Alex Gorden, Supercow and Jumpin Jack
