Stuck and won't let me leave area

I am stuck at the level after the plant room. The hint says there is nothing to do there but it will not let me leave to go back. Can't go back, can't go forward.

Me too. Iam standing in the street and cant go anywhere. What can I do. I would like to finish the game. Can anyone help?

And I thought it was just me. I guess we will have to wait for a fix for this one also.

Me, too. I'm out in the street near the dying police officer and nowhere to go. Am told "nothing to do here" everywhere! How do I get to the hotel or anywhere else. I'm glad it's not just me, but how frustrating! I was loving this game, but this is ridiculous. Help?

Have to dump game and reload???

I am stuck where there is a door man outside of the building. I have even started all over again and signed in different name and still cannot move when I get to the same bit.
It is ok to report these issues but is anyone from Big Fish going to reply and get this fixed. I am sure my laptop is compatible because I was able to play the first game Mystery Chronicle as I was given a triple pack game, I don't really want to install the third game if I am having problems with the second.
