carding the wool

help!!!!! i have carded the wool alot,& i still can't pick it up,what am i doing wrong???

You probably need to keep carding, if you keep going back and forth the yarn will thin out to thread. I had a bit of time with it myself.

Glad to hear it wasn't just me!

It took me awhile. The motion is left and right and you will hear a noise when you have it correct, plus you will see the wool thinning.

I found that using short, definite side to side motions worked best- you know -
sharp left (slight pause) sharp right, (listen for sound in between) sharp left (slight pause) sharp right.

Not left-right, left-right, etc.

I am having problem with this too. It is spoiling the game.

The trick is to work on a small area, rubbing it quickly side to side.

Just pretend you're brushing only one tooth, instead of all your upper teeth.

A rapid motion is best.
