I beta tested this game and did not have one problem with it nor have I had any problems with it since Dev.'s released it. (I won a free copy of the game, along with a few others that beta tested this game). Looks like another game that is only messing up on the world famous . LOL

I don't get an error message - mine won't start at all .. blank screen with arrow just sitting there. Did all the usuals - nothing. Tried your tip Fox 118 and unfortunately it didn't work. Had no choice but to download elsewhere - no problems. Great game. Nice to have a different theme for a change!!

Love the game and will use a game credit to get it IF:
my mouse pointer slows and jerks off and on during play. Please tell me how to solve this issue.
Thanks!

My mouse is doing the same thing, but only after I had purchased the game. I really love the game, but I can't play it right now because, I can't control the mouse.

Fox_118 wrote:I've found a shorter way to fix it, sorry for taking so much of your time trying to follow my long instructions.
Here it is:
1. Copy the following line into the clipboard:
cmd /C rmdir /S /Q "%APPDATA%\Awem\Golden Trails"
2. Press Win+R on your keyboard or click "Start" and choose the Run menu item.
3. In the window opened press right mouse button and select "Paste" in the menu opened
4. Press "Enter" button on your keyboard.
Have a good time with the game!
This worked for me. Thanks Fox!!!

I am getting that same script...however, you are talking waaaay over my head. I'm a little, no make that completely techincally challenged and you all may as well be talking Russian for all I'm getting out of it
I don't think I'll be able to follow all your advise so, I think I'll just have to delete the game if I can't play it
And from the threads here, it sounds like it might have been a fun game to play

Yes, I'm having the same problem, too. I'd like to try Fox 118's solution, but it's all Greek to me. Hope tech support comes up with a solution.

THANK YOU!!!! That worked perfectly and was also very easy!
Just an additional comment for those of you not used to working with .bat files. When you run the fix program, it won't look like anything is happening. That's correct, and it only takes a couple of seconds to download and run it. Also, be advised that there are separate fix downloads for Windows XP and Vista/Windows 7.
