My husband passed away suddenly 18 months ago so I understand what you are going through. Sometimes I still think he's just nipped out for a while! It's difficult adjusting to a new way of life after 42 years together. Playing MC has taken my mind off things and helps me get through the long days. Even though I don't know you I am thinking of you.

Has anyone heard from Susie? How she is doing? I know it has to be so hard.

I have heard from her and she is still coping with the reality of it all. Please continue to offer her support, love and the companionship of the forum. She is so deserving of our prayers.

I sent her an e-mail letting her know how much everyone is thinking of her, your condolences and that she is missed. I know she appreciates all the thoughts and prayers and sharing personal experiences some of you have had with the loss of a spouse.

You are good people.

Kate

Susie,

So glad you made it over to Delphi where so many of your friends have moved to, including me, so we're still there for you if you need us.....a cyber hug, a shoulder to cry on, just feel like venting, or even a laugh to try to lighten your mood! Perhaps this forum closing is like a bit of a welcome distraction in a way right now.

Thanks, Ada.
The cyber hugs and good wishes and prayers mean a lot, sincerely.

Trying to grab emails from private messages but have a headache that is winning the battle tonight.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Like crownofthornes my husband passed away, too, a bit over a year ago. I know that each of us faces our own particular version of this nightmare, but if you need someone to cybertalk with, please feel free to reach out to me. You, too, crownofthornes. I'm on both Delphi and Finish the Game, so you can reach me there, if I can help in any way. I'll PM my email while I still have time to do so.

My deepest condolences to you.

Have fun stormin' the castle, as you feel ready to do so.
