Ok, I have dynomite and everything but no matter where I try to place it, it tells me i can't place it there (to access other site for mining). Any help would be appreciated. I have been trying to figure it out for a couple hours now. lol


Nevermind, I finally got it. lol

I am stuck on the hidden supplies. I have gone to the rocks on the other side. I have tried blasting them and searching them. I can't blast and searching does no good. Can anyone help me?

You must not be at the right rocks then. The rocks you need are to the south, and to get to them you have to go through an archway, then after the arch, your character should go to the left and up a small hill. This area is just north of the red snapper but not accessible with your character if you bring your character to the red snapper pond. To the left of the arch you need to pass through is (or was if you've mined it already) is a hillside gold mine.

I am having trouble with finding the red flowers(for the "strangers wife") and finding which is the biggest tree (to cut down) in the professionals quest. Any ideas? Also, when a red x appears in the quests, is that quest now blocked? should i start that level over?

Hi everyone. I can't figure out how to rescue any of the lumberjacks in this or get to the hidden supplies.

I love this series. But I also am stuck finding the hidden supplies. I have built two farms, a saloon, and a general store. did all the quest for the miner and saloon. That's it. now how do i get across that river to get to the supplies. I found the arch in the river but it has a small waterfull one side and if u go from the other side where the miner was with the gold iti's blocked. So now how do i get acrossed the river? Any help am i missing a quest yet i need to have to get dynamitie to do this or what? I think i'm missing something yet.

Ok i read back again thro the forums and finally understood what everyone was saying about the hidden supplies......I had to go thro to the next section to get the dynamite license. Yes i got it and am now happy farther ahead. I love the quests in here. A lot of thinking and fast moving ones to keep your mind going. Can't wait till number 4 comes out. Thanks all for all your help here in the forums for those of us that get stick in areas on our games. Your value of knowledge is much appreciated.

the biggest tree is north of the river and all the way over to the left. that's where the bears are, too. you chop down the tree by putting a lumber camp next to it.

I'm having trouble with the red flower, too. no idea where it might be

Just have your hero build a flower pot, then right click the flower pot again.

Can Anyone Help, Please? I am doing the Easter Egg Hunt side challenge and one of the eggs is at the base of the water-fall in the river. I cannot reach it due to my bridge to the other side and the supply route bridge. I tried blowing up my bridge, but it won't budge. Any ideas?

Uh-oh, you can try blowing up your bridge from another side - otherwise, I got nothing...sorry.

No Problem...it is just a lesson learned. When I play again and make the terrain and such more difficult I will have fun trying to find them all again! BTW....did you take on this task before creating a bridge to kill the bears? I would like to hear how you did it. Thanks again MeMaw

Hahaha, if I got a quarter for everytime I made a fatal error and dumped my profile to try, try again...I'd have that Felix plush blanket and then some ! Lol.
After much trial and error with WW2 made me realize to NEVER block river accesses. So when I finally arrived at the second settlement in WW3, I automatically examined the river noting the gold and fish resources while scouting the rest of the terrain.
Past exposure to the devious minds of the The WW developers prompted me to experiment with bridge placement for "Black Bear" Island. I decided that no bridge building should take place until the lower left panning mine ran out of gold which looked like the best place for a bridge.
Meanwhile Red Baron is nagging to hurry up with his travelling supplies and that poor little gal is patiently being squished under that log....but I digress.
My first adventure with the Easter Eggs took place long after I cleared off most of the boards and was licking my wounds from another failure at Earthpuke Valley...so it was a refreshing and relaxing romp in the park.

EGG HUNT

I am having trouble finding all the eggs. any ideas? I have all but one.

There is an earlier posting that lists all the possible areas the Easter Eggs are placed. If you use the search tool on the right you should be able to find it. I recall that one egg is hiding behind a tree above the ring of rocks. It took forever (and a lot of dynamite) for me to originally locate it. Good luck

Hey.. If you can get some more gold,you should build a sheriff-house. Then you get more people in there. If you dont get more gold,then start the quest over again..

You can't complete the regular mode....the lumberjacks CAN'T be rescued because of BUGS in the game. Even the sandbox mode doesn't work; once you reach a certain population level...you CAN'T go any higher, and there is NO place to tell you how to raise it, since building new housing does not do it. The best way to play Westward III is to NOT BUY THE GAME!
