Pipe puzzle:
Pipe 1 w/ gold dot on bowl first slot on left
Pipe 2 w/gold dot on stem next to pipe 1
Pipe 3 w/3 gold dots on bowl next to pipe 2
Pipe 4 w/3 gold dots on stem next to pipe 3
Pipe 5 w/5 godl dots on bowl next to pipe 4
And lastly Pipe 6 w/5 gold dots on stem next 2 pipe 5.

For the telegraph machine you need to push the dots in on the main board then connect the wire from the first pushed in button on the left then click on the one that's right next to it and then click on the one that's diagonal to the one on the right and a message will pop up.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For the punch card when you need to do the folder puzzle first. You look at the folder outside the box of folders and that's the next color you need to put in it's correct position. When you are doing this puzzle, a book will open up with squares and circles and you will notice some of the squares and circles are filled in with black. The ones that are filled in with black is the same pattern you take the punch and punch it out on the punch card. Once that is done I believe you get the item you need.

To me what I have been playing so far is an excellent game and I am truly enjoying it. I love the music and the graphics. Excellent game all around. IMHO I had to skip at least 6 of the puzzles in RTR it was to hard. Yest RTR was a wonderful game but they could of done the puzzles a little more simpler. Mata Hari I love the way this woman operates. Ok now I got them totally distracted time for the kill. Simply brilliant.

Just played the trial and it's an okay game. Had no troubles with it and the only aggravating thing I had with the cursor - it doesn't appear in the dialogue screen and you have to take it upon yourself to just click to proceed.
Would I purchase it? No. Don't think so. Not at this time.

I downloaded Sherlock Holmes and the Persian Carpet yesterday and had trouble with the cursor moving slowly. I believe Mata Hari is from the same developer? It sounds the same, with dialogue boxes and popup windows.
Where do you get a game mouse??? That sounds like something I could use! Christmas is coming, la la, la la...
I've only started playing large file games recently and I wonder if having so many loaded onto my computer is slowing things at all. Anyone have an idea about this? I could uninstall some that I've finished and reinstall them if I want to play again.

I'm afraid you may be right. Although, I thought the same thing after Nancy Drew Dossiers. Then Return to Ravenhearst blew THAT out of the water.
According to another site's casual news, developers are taking note and working on more sophisticated games like RtoR.

This is a good question . . . I've been wondering the same thing. Would deleting some of these large game files be beneficial?
