I bought this game and got to the last part where you are to put the 3 amulets in the lock. I found the pink and green gem to go into the amulets but cannot find the blue gem. The hint just tells me I have to go upstairs. I have done everything in each room but in the guest room there are sparkles around the suitcase but it will not open up to a hidden game. I suspect the blue gem is there but I cannot access it. I wonder if this is a glich in the game. Has anyone else encountered this?

Spoiler (highlight to read):

The "Upstairs" location is the top of the stairs, use the "lock pick" with the locked "desk", play the hidden object game and you will be awarded with the blue gem.

Hope that helps!

Anyway, I'm stuck in the dining room and all the hints (I must have put an hour or so in penalties for using the hint button - VERY frustrating) point at some glassware on the table, which I don't know what to do with!! I have a complete red amulet, pieces of a blue and a green one and a shield with a sword on it. Any suggestions please????

I'm stuck in the same place as you & cant get anything else from the hints either. i also have the same in my inventary. I came on the forum hoping for help.

I have just found a magnet in the games room that I missed, if you pushed the key to the drawing room door through with the needle you can now get it with the magnet, I can't as I have 32 gems & need 33! Off to hunt for another one. good luck.

Found out why it keeps telling you to look at the glassware in the dinning room, run your curser over it & you get another gem, hope this helps.

The cellar is to the left of the dining room door, you'll need the lit candle in order to gain access

The key does not work on the kitchen cupboard. I honestly don't know what to do from here. I've never been this stuck so early in such an easy game!

Suggestions/hints folks?

The key opens a drawer UNDER the sparkling plates on the shelf, not the cupboard This had me frustrated for a long time too!

Without the cheats, this game is not a game I would recommend. I am 57% through and as one other on the blog said, it is intriguing as a game only. The layout is so different than any other, the graphics are good but so hard to sort when looking in one of the find areas (that are hard to find also). Also now I have run out of tips/hints and the game tells me I have a hint in my 'sachel' to use but where is it? So, no I would not recommend this game to play or purchase. I just wish I could get a credit for the game.

What a bummer!

There is a topic "Developer Q&A" on this first page of the forum. The developer is there to answer any questions that you might have about the game.

*Spoiler Alert*

Hi GameCrazy10, when the hint system tells you there is a hint in your satchel it means that you can combine 2 satchel items together. If you cannot work out which two items to combine, pressing the hint button whilst inside the satchel will show you exactly what to do.

Aside from the large cursor, volume preset, and huge time costs for using hints, I am getting a repeating instruction to 'visit entrance hall front" which I have done countless times. I've collected 25 crystals, complete pink amulet, 1 pc of blue amulet, knitting needle, fishing hook, lit candle, and set of keys that have enabled me to open all rooms available. What am I missing? Very frustrating, hints give little guidance!

I'm stuck in this blasted game! I've only got 14 crystals and can't find the rest. Is there going to be a walkthrough made, if not, let me know so that I can delete this waste of my time and get a life.

Hi Supernerd,

Thank you for posting, I will try an help you out...

If you have 14 gems, then you are probably trying to get into the Master Bedroom, for which you require 17. The previous ghost fight was in the Library which required 11 gems.

Highlight the text in the "invisible" next paragraph for a spoiler:

There are 3 gems in the Library Desk location (2 visible in scene and 1 hidden in the strange book). There is 1 gem in the Upstairs Left location (on the desk behind the fallen picture). Lastly, there are 2 gems in the Upstairs Right location (1 by the vase and 1 by the suit of armour foot). All visible gems are silver in appearance.

If all else fails, you should be able to use the built in hint system, please see my other post with detailed information entitled "How to use the hint system when you get stuck!".

Regards,

Paul

this might be a bit scatter brained, however, I found a way to carry on after all the battles I and many others have been experiencing. The problem is, I had brain surgery two years ago and it is causing cognitive issues. Nevertheless, I found a way to progress - it has to do with the amulet. I have progressed to the upstairs, been in the bathroom, dealt with the pistol etc. The current problem is it seems like amulet is activated when I try to use the large bunch of keys I received, it tells me I can't use two things at once. My question is what two things, I just want to use the keys. But I shall soldier on - after my nap! If I figure it out I shall let you know. If I remember!! This short term memory is also a problem. I am a senior and my psychologist is thrilled when I have a mission!!!! And this game sure accomplishes that.

If you can solved my current problem let me known. Not the brain stuff - the game LOL

After my Dad started this game..he decided it would be a good idea if we played it roughly at the same time so we could help each other when one got stuck.

The kitchen key is used on the drawer over by where you found the oil can on the shelf. I kept trying the cupboard too!

As of now, I am stuck after going into the library..time for another call to Dad. LOL

Good Luck..game is definitely intriguing.

Hi dolfinfan13, I'm glad you are enjoying the game

You say you are stuck in the library, if you can provide further details of what you are trying to do next then I can give you advice. I wouldn't like to guess what step you are trying next just in case I reveal a spoiler not relevant to your current situation.

In the meantime you can use the in-game hint button. Please see my separate thread entitled "How to use the hint system when you get stuck!" which describes how the hints system works in detail. (some people have not realized that using the hint button when in the correct location that it will show you exactly where to click and with what item).
