Apart from what is on Page 1, here is the rest of the list that I keep by my computer as it saves brainpower and I need that for other things.

ISUN = i'LL SHUT UP NOW
GL2U = GOOD LUCK TO YOU
YW = YOU'RE WELCOME
HMM = TRYING TO THINK
NP = NO PROBLEM
LMAO = LAUGHING MY A** OFF
LMBO = LAUGHING MY BU** OFF
**** = P**ING IN MY PANTS
ROFL = ROLLING ON YOUR FINS LAUGHING
BRB = BE RIGHT BACK
BBL = BE BACK LATER
BTW = BY THE WAY
NM = NOTHING MUCH
AFK = AWAY FROM KEYBOARD
CUL = SEE YOU LATER
TC = TAKE CARE
HAGD = HAVE A GOOD DAY
HB = HURRY BACK
OBIT = OLD BROAD IN TRAINING
MVBF = MY VERY BEST FRIEND
DH = DEAR/DARLING/DUMB/DAFT HUSBAND

The latter was just supposed to be darling but I have meant the others several times LOL. By using the same letters you can mean the others and he will be non the wiser if he is watching you type. We will insert whatever word goes with the rest of your sentence.

The missing double letters above are S, T, E please insert where appropriate. I am just saving the censor the trouble of doing it for me. LOL.

This is great as I didn't know a lot of these. Here is one I didn't see anyone mention.

IDK = I don't know

I wouldn't know that except I have a teenager.

How do you "bump"? Is there a specific action to take or you just type bump and the mods or something special happens and the thread is kept towards the beginning of the posts?
Thanks, Jackie

any time a new message is posted it goes to front page. so typing anything at all in a post will bump it up to the beginning.

I've been posting a while and knew some but not all the abbreviations. Glad to know about DH and the FSRM which I want to do often.

Anyone who is new should never be afraid to ask questions. I asked a dumb one about find the and everyone was very nice. This is one of the friendliest places you could ever find.

I almost wish this had a sticky - and we could add other tips for new posters.

Cheers, MA
