I'm not a fan of romance novels; I never read them. I DID try this game because it got such great reviews. And it lives up to all of them! Great art, tricky (but fair) HOG scenes, good puzzles. And a quite steamy romance! Good story, too. I bought this (and enjoyed it immensely) at regular price. You can't go wrong as a DD!

Count me as another who is VERY happy there will be a sequel!

Hey, Jkuci, I am not a prude. It's not the saucy words that upset me, it's the romantic games I can't stand. But thanks for the advice: let me take a lantern and go forth looking for good games.

I'm NOT a huge IH0G/adventure player but I really liked this game. The story is NOT something that's made to fit the game. The game is made to fit the story! Oh sure, there are some "cheesy" moments, but it was worth my credit when I bought it...and for SURE it's worth the $2.99 for the DD!!

Looking forward to the sequel!

Its nice but just seems a tad easy and handheld to me. I tried it and it was just a bit humdrum. With all the great games out there, this is a pass for me.

Didn't like it at first sight! But I gave the trial a chance and bought the DD. Now I am waiting for the sequel...

After reading all the great reviews and playing the trial, which I really liked, I will buy another DD game this week. After all it's for a great cause and BF have put many great games this month on the DD. Glad to hear there will be another game to follow. Enjoyed the puzzles, a change from HOG's.

This game reminds me of the Samantha Swift games which I have all of. The graphic style and hard to find objects are very similar. This game really shines because of all the puzzles. I'm not much of a straight Hidden Object fan anymore. I prefer the interactive Hidden Object games but this game keeps my attention. I probably skipped it when it first came out because it was listed as being a romance game but it's a lot more. I've just gotten to the romance part but there is too much going on to think twice about it. It's a definite buy for me. As a matter of fact, I've already bought it.

I give this game out of 5 s. The small items detract a little from this game.

I hate romantic novels and the like, but the game got good reviews and it was a slow time for good games so I tried it....and enjoyed it. It wasn't too drippy with love and it was well done. Certainly well worth the $2.99.

What this game reminded me of was the Nancy Drew: Dossier games (which I recently bought, thoroughly enjoyed, and am now bummed to find that the remaining game is "on hold" - indefinitely). If you liked these games, give this one a try. The gameplay is different - you don't match up two items to advance, but the feel is still very similar. I didn't expect to like this game and almost gave up after 10 minutes, but I hung in there and ended up buying. Good game, especially for a DD!

@ Euskaldana - you and Diogenes, huh? Good one!

I'm not sure how I missed this one. This game is based on the 1st book in a series written by one of my favorite authors. I'm downloading it as I type. I'm glad it's gotten good reviews and at such a low price for such a good cause makes it an all around good deal.

I like the different types of puzzles and games (and wish my keyboard z would print on the first push!) in this one. When I do the trial, I always skip the storyline, so the only "steamy" part I got to was the bathtub waiting for someone to use.

This breast cancer special is costing me money. I'm starting on my third punch card for the month! (And I have three credits that must be used up by the end of this month! So you know I will be getting three free ones and at least two more DD's. If BF really does have a Halloween special, I may end up with four punch cards -- a new high for me.

Do try it before turning your nose up at romance or a HOG. So far, they all fit with the story. Haven't seen a CD or cell phone yet.

Actually, he says this in a very disdainful, sarcastic manner. And likewise, the girl is horrified when he says that. It's all just a part of some very clever dialogue -- which was adapted from the book by the author herself.

yep, that's it! I haven't laughed out loud at a game in a long time, but must admit that I guffawed at that. any game that tickles my sense of humor is a definite buy. I really didn't think I was going to like this one when I first started playing, the graphics are not my usual preference and it's a pretty easy game. but that aside, something about it struck me and I added it to my collection today. the HOG scenes are not junkpile so far (45 min into demo), it all makes sense as a Chinese marketplace. some of the items are small, and I actually had to use a hint to find one (which is pretty rare). but I was more interested in seeing what happened next than I was in finding one teeny little puzzle piece.

I'm not a romance novel fan, but I might have to see if it's available for my kindle at a decent price. and I'll join the leagues who await the release of the next chapter.

Downloaded this last night & was going to try today. After coming back from specialist this a.m. & being told I have tumours in both brain & liver have not been able to concentrate on demo so am buying without trying. hopefully I will "bounce back". Specialist seems optimistic that they have caught it early have had chemo before & it really knocks me around. Thanks for your reviews that helped me decide & thanks BF for cancer research promotion.

This game is well worth the full price, even with a cliff-hanger ending and the without possibility of a part 2. I demoed it a while back and meant to put it on my future full credit purchase list, but it got waylaid somewhere. A very fun and pleasurable game to play; I cannot understand why it initially got poor reviews. I hope that this purchase encourages the delevopers to reconsider publishing part 2, even if it is only a DD purchase.

A definite buy for me too!

Found it funny though how BFG stated in bright green letters after summary of game: "Please note: this game contains romantic themes." I didn't realize we need potential disclaimers on that now too. LOL!

Well I just finished it yesterday & I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't wait for the next instalment, I picked the book up this morning from my local library Not my usual type of book, but I am interested in the story now enough to read.

I downloaded the trial version of this game quite some time ago, played the full 60,and liked it. However I chose not to buy at that time. To see it here offered as a daily deal, I was made an offer I could not refuse!! So far this is a very nice game!
