Have the snake key but it will not open the serpent gate. What now? I went back to the walkthrough, and have done everything correctly so far.

My mistake was trying to open the wrong gate with the snake key. I found the right gate and am progressing nicely.

I'm having the same problem as struggling1 & Melatonine---game pieces don't load, skip won't activate! Very frustrating! How do I open the freezer if the game pieces won't go?

For those asking about the Spider Gate, I didn't have any problems there. Here's how it is supposed to work.

One third falls off. You put on a button, move it to the correct spot, get a reward used elsewhere, and the second third falls off. You put on the second button, move it to the correct spot, get a reward used elsewhere, and the top third falls off. When you firish with the third button and get your reward, the whole thing falls off to reveal the spider. Then you open the spider gate just like you did the snake and raven gate. Does that answer your question?

Other than it won't take the puzzle piece, yes. I've tried and tried. Nothing. I am stalled here and cannot move forward. Frustrating.

Spider Gate. No that doesn't answer the question. There is supposed to be key number 2 there and there isn't. I'm getting tired of BFG not checking the games they are selling.

Anyone had a problem when reaching the Hospital. Walkthrough says that the piece of the puzzle is in the door to the hospital. I have tried several time but cannot find it

I cannot close game. I have to click on ctrl-alt-delete top get game to close.. ARGHHHHHHHHHH

At the Doctor's office, I cannot move the carpet on the floor. I've tried clicking both ends, all four corners and the middle of the carpet to move it.

I am totally stuck. On the shelf in the school there is supposed to be the jack in the box handle next to the postbox flap according to the walkthrough. But in my game it is not there. HELP!!! I cannot get any further in the game without it.
Loved the game till then. What a nasty surprise. The hint keeps taking me to the jack in the box. I KNOW A NEED THE HANDLE TO THE BLOOMING JACK IN THE BOX. A SOOOOOOOOOO FRUSTRATED HAZEL

I am having the same problem as most with the Spider Gate. When you move the second rune around the entire 3-prong device falls off and there is no Key 2 to find. I'm stuck also and would like to move forward. Can someone possibly tell me how I'm supposed to do that when Key 2 is no where to be found?

Please let me know if anyone figures out the spider gate resolution--sigh.

I'm getting the access code violation when closing the game - at which point my tool bar at the bottom moves halfway up the screen and the whole right side loses its desktop icons. The first time I had to use system restore to get them back but now it comes back on its own - a good thing because relocating 30+ icons is not a fun thing. After I click OK on the violation code box, Windows kicks in with an error reporting scan. My driver has been updated and everything else runs fine from the Game manager - this one game is the only one causing a problem at the moment.

I really want to complete this game, but it takes so long to go from one item to the next. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it a couple of times. I have tried multiple other things to see if there is a problem on my end, but my pc is okay. I am getting really close to jumping the BFG ship and retreating to iWin games.

I am having the same problem at the spider gate as most. I put my third rune in and moved it around and the whole thing falls off and doesnt give me my second piece of the clock. So now I am stuck because I can't fix the clock which means I can't get the key which means I can't open the gate. HELP Stuck.

Recurring white boxes make this a no buy for me. I found that I could work around them, but why should I have to?
