Hi,
I have been stuck in the room with the moving floors forever it sems. I have opened the panel with the statue inside (haven't picked it up yet) but cannot get to the inscription on the door and the riddle. Can anyone help? I've looked through all of the information and although this room is mentioned, I can't find the answer. Please help!!

Greetings,
I posted this elsewhere but no answer yet. So I will try here and you seem to reply. I am stuck in the bedroom. I found the fork to use on the painting. The walkthrough says you must get "close up" to use it. I have tried every angle but can't get the "magnifying glass" to get close up. I just get a hand but no "hot spot" to tell you to use a tool. I just get a scratching sound from the hand. When I try to use the fork nothing happens. Have been trying since yesterday afternoon. I thought maybe today I could get passed this but I can't. Any tips on how to get close up? Please help. Can't move on.

It's under the bottle rack in the middle of the room. You have to be tween the kegs and the rack to get it.

Everytime I try to empty the oil flask into the lamp so I will have an "empty bottle" - the torchs and bottle disappear and I can't find anything else that I can use as "air". What am I doing wrong? Every "guide" says to use the "empty bottle".

On the bottom of the picture is a hole, the fork goes into that.

Its not the fork you need - its the cane on top of the fan try that and let me know how you get on. Use the fork on the painting of the hunter shooting game

to Masapazz, you need six bottles, five for the cleared shelf and one for later. Keep looking

Susie.. I am having the same problem. Each time, yes I said each time, I empty the oil bottle into the oil lamp the oil bottle disappears. keep in mind the oil lamp replaces the torches so those should disappear. Hope someone helps with this.

Suziegirl, finally figured it out after rereading the walkthrough. The empty bottle is in the wine cellar on the floor next to the wine rack where you found the rags. If you go along the side between the wall rack and floor rack point your cursor to the floor. It will change into a hand and you can pick up the bottle. If you did not save a screen from the wine cellar you can still re-enter it from the lab. Just go back into the wine cellar and it will let you get the bottle. I was afraid it wouldn't let me pick it up since I had already gone into the lab but it did thank goodess. I was afraid I would have to start the whole game again. Yikes! Good luck. I have now gotten past the urns in the store room.

This happened to me also. After you put the bucket on the second scorpion, immediately pick up the plank right there. Once you move away to pick up the bag it is too late. Sherlock will die.

I bought this game a long time ago and tried to play it numerous times. I get so far and then get tired and need to leave it. however, every time i go back i have to start all the way back to the beginning instead of where i left off. it says there are a couple of saves in the game but they don't seem to do anything. this is very frustrating. anyone else have this problem? thanks

can't put the bucket on 1st scorpion very fast running and hard to catch it.
I changed places to try better place but that did not work as well.

Regarding the save game, I restarted this game 3 times because I had a problem with my video card.
So I was willing to restart it once more after redowloaded it, got a bit bored to replay for the 4th time the game
and when i wanted to save the small part I was replaying, i just checked LOAD GAME and what a sur^prised
all my saved game where just there.

as you can see the loaded game where right under my eyes.

Did you check yours ??

could be a surprise for you.

You should have two buckets. If one doesn't work, try the other one.

I'm on level 5 now and solving japoneese puzzle.

I think i'd better print the page because the grid makes my eyes running on a merry-go-round.

I'm on Level 3 I got the statue from the rotating room and went to put the B seal in the center urn in the storage room, but can't put it in the urn. Nothing happens. Is the a secret to this?
