Hi bon4u2! There is a whole thread dealing with this puzzle called Beetle Temple: Animal Door/Gear Puzzle. It has all kinds of hints and tips about how to complete it posted by fellow gamers. I'm sure you can find your answer there . Good luck.
Happy gaming!

Great gaming friend! These forums saved my life........and the poor old professor's.
Thanks BF for a spectacular offering! All I can say is..........Wow!
"I tasted pond scum".... Still laughing at that one. Congrats cnicolls! I am thinking of having another go at this game for the 3rd time. I wanted to take a little break first.

Finished it, but honestly can't say "finally". I thought it was way too short and even though I only worked on it in the evenings, and I had help with maybe 2 puzzles from my better half, I did it in 5 days. And i'm not a particular logical person when it comes to these mind games, so even with that, I wish it had more puzzles/hidden objects.
I can't remember how long Madame Fate took, but I think it was a lot longer than this game.
I downloaded HE Everest on a free trial. How is that game? Worth paying for it?

Congrats Valerie! I have finished some games in like 2-3 hours after downloading. There are a few games out there that I made it either 1/2 or 3/4 of the way through just playing the 1 hour demo. Madame Fate did seem longer to me also, but after playing it 10 times, I can get through it in about 2 1/2 hours. You should try the Clumsys. That game is horrendously long! I was at the point where I was wondering if it would ever end.
HE - Everest is a very good game, but you may be disappointed after playing Amazon. It is a lot easier then Amazon. I think it's worth the money IMHO.

Hey Scotcat, congrats on moving up to a herring fish, I just noticed that, you too Cesse47. And Iam totally with ya in playing a third round. I just finished my second round last night with a 265638 and felt pretty good bout that; am a little nervous that am gonna totally bomb this third one and not even come close to my previous scores but right now I dont really know else to do with myself because ive played all the other games and I think they all stay the same if you play them again, Scotcat, sounds like you played madame fate more than once, how is that? are you just trying to beat your old time or something or is there more to it than that, I mean that could be cool and all but I dont know, I get bored real easily.
Also, even though Ive played twice and beaten the game and all, both times i never found the journal page number 4 the one like in the sort of desert area, where the gopher is. I find the page the first time I am put in the scene but you know the second time you go back and have to get the more objects there, I cant ever find the page, the game never seems to matter and it never really effected me, atleast in moving on but can anyone tell me where the heck I can find it?

Thanks xoxenia! Ok, game on now! Both you and Gina beat my score. I think you have the highest score so far. I don't know why my score was not higher. I only got one -100 penalty. I would have been penalty free, but I was trying things out to see how the darn game figured out penalties.
I think the diary is a rolled up looking paper in a box at the bottom right of the screen. It doesn't look like a postcard.
I played Madame fate so much at first because I LOVED the game (just like I am play Amazon so much). Then, I wanted to beat my scores. I used all different names to see if I could fill up the whole scoreboard with all my chosen names.

Xoxenia, you MUST go play Madame Fate NOW!!! If you think Amazon is good, you're in for a REAL treat with MF! As much as I loved Amazon, the Madame is STILL my absolute favorite! Like you, Scotcat, I've kept playing it to replace all the top agents with my own. Okay, call me a little weird, but I'm a classic rock freak so all of my agents are named Lennon, McCartney, Clapton, Morrison, Plant, Page, Jagger, Dylan, Tyler... well, you get the idea.

I have rock memorabilia everywhere (mostly Beatles), from pictures to concert tickets, from books to figurines, you name it. I have a poster of Jim Morrison (pant, pant) framed and hanging over the head of my bed, and I carry a Beatles purse! I'm in serious need of some help! LOL!!!
I bought the very first Beatles album when it came out. Still have it. I remember watching the Beatles debut on the Ed Sullivan show on our small B/W TV back in the 60's. Lord, I am old!
