Hi Read61
There is a little blue button inside the center desk drawer (on the right side) that you need to click to open that will unlock another drawer with.
; I'm not out yet either , and oh how I wish there were more graphic options!

First problem is I didn't get a certain Item from the young lady at the cafe. Went back to her but I cant get the interaction to get said item. Do I have to start over from the beginning? I guess if you do a new Save after finishing a scene it would help to not have to start from the beginning.
Ok, good news is....no, you do not need to start over.
You**** have to talk to Pierre and Sylvie twice. First, about the
adapter. Then, you need to meticulously look over everything on
the desk. Easy to miss stuff. If you keep going out and cannot
get the item you need, it means you missed something on the desk.***
That part nearly drove me nuts.
read If you are ** *at the first crime scene, you do not have to
worry about the fuses** That is just there to make you crazy.

Two hours later, I still can't leave the room.
Here is what I have done:
Noted the turned over chair, the glass shards (hates his reflection?) the lack of blood, poor girl, the hook under arm, the fuse box, and spoke with the police officer about the lights. Banged a couple of piano keys, sometime regretted giving up playing, and read the police reports and profile.
My evidence:
Got the mop handle and all the goodies from the desk.
I've swabbed the cheek, taken the plank, gotten the fingerprint, and taken the doll.
I've taken six pictures:
two of the dancer
the plank
the cross
the renter's list
I can't remember what the sixth one is...but the camera shows six taken.
I have no plastic sleeves left, but I do have sheets of paper.
When I click the question mark, the piano has question marks on it.
I keep going to the policeman, and the dialog box says "end of conversation"
Any suggestions?

I bumped my walkthrough for the beginning of the game.
ETA That bloody inner tube! That's really picky. I'll try and find the relevant thread.
Important note: double-click to run. You can't do this bit without.

Rudygeegee, welcome!, and, maybe it would help if you pull the string tighter!
I wish we could exam the photos taken, to see if we missed anything. Guess I'll take better notes.

Everyone is so funny. How many hairs do you all have left on your head ? LOL
Started over from the beginning again and have several Saves if I need to go back some. Off to the Hotel once again.
How does one do a Spoiler here? That is so cool. Have done them on a Sims3 Forum but not here yet.

Hi Debbi,
I've mostly done what I saw others do, just white it out by changing the text color; is this the favored way?
Speaking of hair(s), I did comb mine this morning, but after "end of conversation" about 20 times at the murder scene I think mine is poking straight up.
I've had to refer to a walk thru so many times with this game! I did chuckle when "Sylvie" was introduced ("think, Sylvie, think"), I did not realize it was the same developer. They must have dumbed Sylvie's games down because I did not have as much trouble with hers .

I am here too ...so glad to see this group play.
These AOM games are tough but fun, and if I can help as well as play, be glad to!
Right now, I am in Spain,...( sigh) ( no, not REALLY in Spain, as awesome as THAT would be...lol)
Am on my ipad as I hate having to save the game and come on line so will see if any one had the issue I have before...
