The only thing that should stop your Purchase is if you are not a Game Member. The TGT is for Game Members only

It appears that if you participate in todays "buy one CE get one for 1.99" special, you will get ONE punch for each CE. I suppose if it's not during a special, you still get 3 punches for each one. Do the math on the punch cards. This special is not so special after all.

Sorry, but I don't think BFG is at fault here. If you wanted to purchase a game in February you would have needed to complete your purchase prior to 8:59 BFG time. At 9:00 BFG time March 1 started, since that would translate to midnight their time..

I believe on sale or promotional ads it will say it ends at 11:59 PST time not 12:00 BFG time.

Just something to keep in mind for the future.

Yet another change by BFG that is geared towards driving members away. The next step will probably be to eliminate the free punches anyway. Oh well, from now on I will only purchase my CEs on sale if they are decent, then on Mondays I will by the SE releases.

I, for one, have always been surprised that BFG gave out a punch for a free coupon game and I'm not surprised that they have finally discontinued this practice.

I will not be buying any more CE's much as I like them, I will use all my punch card coupons, then, I will be gone. Usually a company gets better with time. Big Fish has been taking things away continually. Chit chat , live customer service chat, Big Fish unlimited, now punches earned for coupon codes. What next?

If they are worried about money bottom line, they better pay attention. If their customers leave, how much money will they have then?

Developers are not always that much more expensive; I bought the new Royal Envoy CE from the devs yesterday and it cost me about 40p (UK) more than a CE from here, so basically next to no difference. And if I wasn't a BFG club member, it would have been about £4 cheaper from the devs than the BFG non-member price for a CE. Definitely worth shopping around

Tauret, may be my English is not good enough for you, but if you read carefuly my post you will see that I bought this game to finish my punch card 9 hours prior to 8.59 BFG time. So I lost all my punches, whether is was 9 AM or not. If I were to buy the TGT I would start a new punch card, which is not my intention.

Glad to see you've still got the same finicky spirit !!!!!

They have a new customer base.....all the people that got hooked on gambling on the casino games....more money to be made there, than with loyal long time members.

Big Fish statement:......................

Do these Collector's Editions qualify for the Big Fish Game Club Monthly Punch Card?

Yes, you will receive one punch on your Punch Card for every Collector's Edition that you buy.

This is the statement in the help article.......it states one punch on punch card for every CE that you buy. ONE??????

After reading your post I went looking for myself. The odd thing is I just bought a bunch of CEs and lo and behold.....I got three punches for each CE.....

I just bought 2 CE's using the PLAY code, got 6 punches and a free game coupon. So the sale doesn't mean you don't get 3 punches for each CE

Sorry, but this thread started out regarding not getting a punch for purchases made with PCCs.....it wasn't about not getting 3 punches for CEs .

BFG considers a PCC a free game on it's own.....therefore you will no longer earn a punch for using that PCC

I used 3 coupons Monday expecting to get double punches to fill out a punch card. I was unpleasantly surprised to only get 3 punches. I had several emails with customer service and learned about the change in policy. There was no notice on Facebook or anywhere else, that I could find, to tell us about this in advance of the change (which they have the right to do, but only going forward). I looked at the punch card coupons that I still have to use up and they clearly say you are entitled to a punch when you use the coupon. I bought an extra game, that I really did not care about, just to fill the card, and here comes another coupon that says I will get a punch when I use it. It seemed to me, legally, they still need to honor the terms on the coupon for coupons they have already issued. Unfortunately, their programming won't enable them to discern between pre and post policy changes for coupons already issued. Customer service, generously, I think, listened to me and awarded me two coupons for the punches I will lose under the new policy (I have quite a few unused coupons, so I think that makes me whole). Like Poutoule, I was on the verge of looking elsewhere for my games as I miss the Chit Chat feature (where we use to find out about these kinds of changes) and the live chat to quickly resolve issues and the "Hondo" type weekly previews of coming games, and this seemed like the "last straw". And I miss Poutoule and Valdy's reviews of the games. But customer support listened to me and resolved this issue fairly. Give it a try, I think they are trying to be fair.

I agree with everything you said. It's started for me on Punch Card Monday. I was using punch cards...and it would NOT give me a punch. I kept using more punch cards and nothing happened. I wrote BF twice...and still haven't heard from them.

Very disappointing and sadden by all of the changes. I've been a loyal Customer...I would hope for the same. But things have really changed. It breaks my heart. I love BF and have purchase ALOT of games! But now CS doesn't even respond. And now they take away the punch's.

Thank you mt1greggor.........for reminding me about the punch card coupon clearly stating that using the coupon will earn a punch on your card. I just wrote customer service about this. Seems to me, they should honor this and that they owe all of us who used a pcc, not only a punch whenever used, but a bonus punch if used on Monday.

and the pccs they send out now STILL state that you get a punch when using them.

I haven't trusted our games would be available for 'lifetime' from BF (as advertised) for a long time....every since the "new and improved" forums didn't happen; the new & improved BF Game Manager...that gives BF permission to download games on our computer they 'previously' couldn't we were told 'nothing' about; the plug being pulled on CCC with only 24 hours notice (then we didn't even get 24 hours); Customer Service 'live chat' was dismantled; and now, again, without notice, Double Punch Mondays disappeared at the end of the month. That was FALSE ADVERTISING for Double Punch Mondays (it was 'still being advertised') and BF knows it! Legally, that's considered FRAUD & BF knows that also! Like Patoule and others, I used a PCC to fill out a Punch card yesterday but lost the punch card. The date on my PCC said it was good until 04/11/12...yet I lost 5 punches & no...I didn't get a free game either!

I have purchased (with money) hundreds of games at BF, only bought games from BF, & have all my games downloaded on an external. If BF wants to 'run their customers off' COUNT ME GONE! Way to go BF...you shot yourself in the foot again but you've thrown me under the bus for the last time! Just how many 'shovels' does BF have & are planning/continuing to use on their customers?

And just in case...yes, I know what time BF uses...Pacific Standard Time!

I also lost my 5 punches as I had no idea about the policy change. I have been a member and paid my money each month since 2009 and purchased hundreds of games. Did we not get a memo in our e-mail? Up until now I have been happy with customer service whenever I have had a problem, but this blows!!! I may quit my membership over this. Arggh!

I purchased games also with my PCC coupons and didn't get my punches and was in the process of preparing a letter to BF when I was looking at the dates of my purchases to put in my note I happen to read somewhere that it said the thing about no punches for PCC purchases anymore except the extra on Monday. I was able to buy the daily deals in order to complete my 6 games needed in time.

I have been a member for 4 years and have a lot of games and even though I don't really need a new one as I have many now to play, being a member I just can't seem to resist buying them. I have been thinking about cancelling my membership and just catching up on some of the games I have purchased, but not played. This last thing settles it for me I think.

Also I have gotten more picky and would be able to just look around for the unique type of games I really love (Adventure/lite without hidden object scenes or only unique ones). I have had good results with responses from customers service recently whenever I wrote to them, but this recent cut of the punches just helps make the decision to drop my membership, at least for now and after I have used all my coupons.
