Nice to be able to pop those balloons!
There now seem to be only a very few collectibles still missing:

blue and white plate (I would sooooo love to get that one)
Columbus day stamp
Korean medal
London Bridge

Is that all?

The slot machines are a bit disappointing I think (can this really be Wulfruna expressing criticism???? ) . It seems to be totally random what you get, with no skill involved to play. I had expected to be able to click on the buttons at the bottom of each column in order to try and make it stick at the one you want - but I suppose that would actually make it too easy for us to get three each time! Maybe later ones will include this facility in some way? It would also be nice to have some indication of what the prize for each game will be. I didn't notice any indication of this at the time when I played, but am now upgrading to level 2 so can't go in and check - as Oddly says there doesn't seem to be a spot to click and enter during the upgrade. (incidentally, the upgrade seems to use very few of our accumulated building materials - we had expected this to need loads of bricks and paint and stuff....)
I am also not keen on having to pay gold to play these games - I have never had much gold and don't pay real cash to buy it. And there are now not so many ways to earn gold in the game once you have mastered most achievements. (Even if the new seasonal quests reward us with gold). We had all thought that the access to the gaming machines would be with stars, since these are our new "resources" - so I wonder what they are for?
We await the full Spring event update with interest!!!!!

What a drag - something new to play with and work offers Overtime for the first time in four years!! I have to decide between real money and ART money .... off to work I go. I might even log on to the public access computers at work to see the forum (since agency IT blocked accessing it from our work putters ).

I seem to have lost the "Delete All" button on my messages. Not that it "deleted all" but now I have to open each individual message to delete it. And what is the "Claim" button for?

Just played the second slot machine - for one of my precious gold coins... Got two matches and an award of one hammer - but that would only cost me one gold to buy from the store in any case (which I have previously chosen not to do, as I already think that is poor value). I don't think I am going to bother with this any more for now as it is no fun.

Ive been trying to figure out what prizes you get but I have come to conclusion that it is just random. There doesnt seem to be any order to it. Sometimes you can get a better reward for matching 2 than for matching 3. I have received coins in various amounts from 50 to 1000. Sometimes I get resources, sometimes a collectible, sometimes gold, sometimes food. Its different every time.

I find the slot machines to be a disappointment as well.....especially the one that costs gold bars to play.....the payoffs just aren't very good.

eta: Hoping that there will be different games as you upgrade the building....two slot machines is enough!

I did not get to play the second slot machine today so am I to understand the first machine takes a hundred coin and the other costs one gold bar? I am a tad confused by the term gold coin <puzzled look>.

And YES, I am logged on to the germy, grimy pubic computer at work cause I just had to know what was going on... No, I am not addicted to ART. Say that a hundred times with a straight face.

Oh yea, updating to level 3 now. Takes 4 hours.

Think it will cost your first born to play the third slot machine?

What slot machines are you talking about I haven't seen any yet? Never mind I found them. It is amazing what you find when you look for them.

I'm glad to see that you are all having fun exploring the new update!

For anyone who is having problems seeing the update in the Big Fish Games app, keep in mind that uninstalling and reinstalling the game will also get you the most recent version. Just use the link below if you would like some steps on how to do that:

I wonder if it has something to do with gifting.

i know this should probably go in the collectables thread, but i wanted to post it here since this is the most recent, and it may have to do with the update.i found the GW Carver stamp in Teodi's Tailoring on 1b! i know many have been looking for that one, and considering Teodi really doesn't give out items i figured you all would like to know!

Hopefully now we will start getting regular updates. So far we have had an update in Febrary, March and now April. It is usually around the second to third week of the month. It will be interesting to see if we get one around this time next month. Anyone taking bets?

(I can't comment before February as I didn't start playing until later in January.)

Yes, thank you! Loretta posted above about the Tailor Shop. This is what I found from her list in the Collection thread:

1b- GW Carver
4- Worker's boots
5- Forest's Bird Retreat
7- Mythical Cameo
8- Silver Sauceboat
10- Classic Red Wine Glass
14 and/or 12 (I haven't figured this one out yet.) One is the American Defense Service Medal and the other is the Peace Dove
16- Spanish Campaign Medal
18- Graduation Robe

Thanks again Loretta!

We are still missing some and some that we have had may have been removed. I haven't seen where that has all been figured out yet.

Thanks to everyone who helps keep all of us up-to-date!

Eh did notice .. Spring update available, was there on my BF near game..clicked..install. However the new quests, an changes, were not showing up, so un-install an re-install, did through trash can..DL new version, details showed, un-installing old version, installing new version, when I opened game, aye, the new quests et all, were all there an everything was peachy there....All in all thus far the game is good craic....thus far..with very mixed feelings on the slot machine requiring gold to play, won't do that..
Eh hopefully some future adjustments to this game..will get out the kinks..
Just remember before getting frustrated, and giving up, as an hardcore RPG gamer, even big games have bugs and need updates..so patience..
Right now with herniated disc, an a few lovely cortizone shots in the rump, I am enjoying my relaxed BF games..always will..
Perchance this info helps some before one gives up on the game altogether

To all you folks that have found the slot machines to be a disappoinment - you need to give them a chance. This morning I earmarked 5,000 coins to blow on the slots just for fun to see what I would lose (remember, it's gambling - you have to expect to lose!) Well, I had a great day at the casino! For my 5000 coins I ended up acquiring: 1 Mac & Cheese (72,000 coin), 1 Pizza (35,000 coin), 3 Dragonfly (15,000 coin), 3 Bezoars (15 gold), 6 Scarabs (90 gold), 1 Antikythera (29 gold). I'd say I came way out on top! I live 1-1/2 hours from Atlantic City. Once a year I go there with $50 to blow on the slots. I never did this well in AC! So, what I'm saying here is don't be so down on the slots in American Antiques Road Trip. They do pay out well occasionally. And I had a good 40 minutes of fun with my original 5000 coins. Oh, I forgot to mention - I only played the coin slot. I hoard my gold like a miser and refused to gamble with them.

I can't speak for other folks, but for me the disappointment in the slot machines has little to do with the payout and a lot to do with the fact that I don't find them fun. There's nothing to plan, think about, experiment with, etc. No choices to be made at all -- just clicking then winning or losing. Clearly many people enjoy them or are benefiting from playing them, but I just think they're boring.

Some wins on the coin machine include 1 to 3 Gold, too. Didn't you win any?
