As I was playing the 60 minute version I found if I got the wheels in the correct spot they went around all the same way.. But this is only my opinion.. Maybe others have a different answer... Hope this helps

mmonroe, if you just try placing one gear at a time near the gear that's already moving, and make sure the one you place moves with it, you should get it. Just keep placing them one at a time and check to make sure each on moves.

I hate to tell you this Edna & ladies, but I am NOT buying this game. If was Kinda fun when I beta tested it, but then along came Amazon and that new game Treasure Masters, Inc. which I played the demo. Unicorn Castle is now corny and way too easy for me. I don't know what they did, but the game ran better and looked better in the beta testing. Now it has some glitches and the graphics are worse! I keep getting gear puzzles and I thought it had several different puzzles.

It ticked me off that there is no "skip dialoge" button because there is WAY too much talking. I think I got Carpal Tunnel Syndrome from hitting the "next" arrow so many times in a row so I could get past the blah. blah, blah and get on with the game.

If you go into options and click on "Hardware Excelleration" it makes the screen smaller & the graphics worse. If you UNclick this option, you get a full screen and better graphics, but the room where it is supposed to be dark (light 3 candles) is nothing but black dots everywhere. It doesn't look like darkness at all. I found a few glitches also.

I kept looking at the clock and wondering why my hour was not up yet. Heck, I had way more fun playing Fishdom then this game.

I hope you all have fun, but I'm not buying it.
I rate it tops. Well, maybe 2 1/2.

Just played for almost my full demo hour (too tired - will finish tomorrow). It's cute, but pretty easy, Not much of a challenge in what I've seen so far. Then again, there are times when the easy games are good. When I'm really tired, for example, I like to play the Big City Adventures -San Francisco or Sydney and they relax me to where I'm almost falling asleep (not so with Amazon). Don't know yet if I'll get this one.

cspmbs.... you just need to keep switching the gears around until they all fit and move together. Trial & error kind of thing. You can see by the pegs and how far apart they are spaced where the bigger gears go.... and the smaller ones on the pegs closer together. The gears are not numbered or color coded, so it's not easy to explain exactly which gear goes where. Keep trying.

Good luck.

Hi Everyone! Now that there is a separate forum for the Mystery of Unicorn Castle, I'm going to move this thread over there. I hope everyone is enjoying the game!

I wasn't too crazy about this one. I suppose if there wasn't anything else new I might buy it but it's too much like Mysterville. I did enjoy the puzzles tho to unlock the locked areas.

Glad to hear you are busy enjoying your games Edna.
YES, I can't wait for Crystal Portal & Treasure Masters, Inc. Two games with some real "meat" in them! Of course, still waiting for Azada 2 & the MCF #5 to come out also.

Is Crystal Portal coming to BF on the 10th or just out there somewhere?

For those of you that don't already know and knowone bothered to tell me the gears all go on the nails. I wouldn't say they all go the same way because for me it wasn't that way.

Noone even bothered to tell me there's more than one puzzle of gears. I'm going nuts. I'm going back to hidden expedition to finish that! Anybody know why BF doesn't have CATE WEST-now that's a fun game.

I changed my mind and bought this after all. I really did enjoy it. Probably not the best game but not the worst either.

Can anyone help! Please Please
Bought the full version, am stuck in the room where the smoking pipe needs to be fixed.
Can get the pipe together, but there is an extra black piece for the stem that is not needed and won't click into place. I can't get the scene to move on for the rest of the game.
Anyone have the secret to move on to the rest of the game, or is that a major glitch?

kellyj, are you sure it's an extra piece. I didn't have any extra pieces but I know that the pieces have to be exactly in the right place or they won't click into place. Good luck!

I think I'm gonna have to go along with Scotcat's recommendation and not purchase this game. Although I was on the fence for a few days about it, I just couldn't get past the LOOOONG dialog and how much it reminded me of the Mysteryville series, plus I don't like the aspect of finding objects in silhouette. Still haven't quite decided about 10 Days though. Oh well, guess I'll be holding onto those two game credits a little longer.
