Thank you!! Was it "multiplying 2" during this one instead of "adding 2", as someone else mentioned in this thread?

That's what I did when I thought the number of canines was four. But then I did some research and found that foxes are also considered canines. So I'm still not sure why eight is the second digit of the number.

I can't remember, but if there are 3 each, then add the 2 that would make your answer.

Some of these achievements just baffle me.

Yeah, me too. I do love the super puzzles in these MCF games, though! Wish they could be replayed in the bonus content without playing the entire game again.

Look for a building with the name in the clue on the sign above the door. You won't be able to tell from the map. Also, where did you use three-digit numbers already to get inventory items?

Would someone please stop torturing us and just post it in a spoiler. It would be VERY much appreciated. And then if someone doesn't want to know, wants to figure it out on their own, they can just not highlight the spoiler.

I don't think the clue refers to the figurines. Spoiler below

When you first try to walk forward in the game, a wolf jumps out.
There are 2 wolves blocking the way in front of the hotel.
There are 2 wolves blocking the way to the pharmacy.
Ted's dog in the hole.

6+2=8

Question highlighted could be spoiler. Why is this not working for me? I chose 184 in the cash register and it is not working. Am I doing something wrong

I'm not sure, bobobear. Have you (highlight below):

Watched the credits to the end?
Entered both the codes for the game first?
Seen all the wolves?
Played the puzzle with the birds?

Honestly, when I did get the achievement, it happened very fast. I had finished the game and was playing through a second time.

Maybe someone else can shed light on this? Prpldva?

Confirming the code provided above works:
(highlight for spoiler text at end of credits for those who are stuck)
"Search Townsend and use the code (mo. of founding), (# of canine figures + 2), (# of birds to break a branch + 1)"

(highlight for spoiler answer for those who are stuck)

*After* you have seen all the wolves and entered the other two register codes needed to open the drawers
Go to Pharmacy Register, enter the code 184, and pull the lever.
*poof!* Achievement Unlocked!

1 = Month of Founding
8 = # of Wolves/Canines + 2 (1 wolf at start, 2 at hotel, 2 at pharmacy, 1 dog = thunder; thankfully NOT counting all the 'ghost wolves' that appear and disappear!)
4 = # of Birds to break a branch + 1 (for the 3 birds in banshee lights super puzzle)

I wouldn't say getting the achievement is 'anti-climactic' - although IMO it is more along the lines of those extra tasks we figured out to collect the 10 extra gold cards in MCF:13th skull . ...only without the other 9 tasks we had to figure out along with it.
And not quite as much math involved as the phone number for the Dire Grove 1 puzzle

What can I say - I'm tickled they gave us a puzzle like this in the credits at all, it's been a while!!
Thank You!!!

I had to enter it twice. The first time I didn't get any notification. When I went to Achievements, it said I had it, but I didn't have the icon filling the hole. I went back and entered it again, got the notification, went back to Achievements and the icon was there.

Hi,
Can someone post (in hidden spoiler-text format) what happens after you enter the code successfully? I beat the game but won't have time to play again any time soon... I have been wondering what happens since I saw the clue in the credits!

Thank you!
