I've been playing since it soft launched on the 22nd (not consistently, mind you...faunasphere and now Wandering Willows has eaten huge chunks of my time ).
This game is is NOT Virtual Village for starters.
Don't buy this game with that mistaken perception ! You will be seriously disappointed !
Instead, play this novel, heartbreakingly charming and curiously puzzling game because it will slowly and steadily grow on you.
All prior Last Day of Works' offerings were developed to consume massive amounts of time with many a pitfall geared to set a players' progress back on different levels.
Not so with Virtual Families. This is casual gaming at its most basic definition...short and sweet gameplay but with a host of added benefits...the enormous trophy list, a marvelous store that restocks every four hours, a generous collections list, a savings/banking account that pays at an unheard of rate of 10% !! Every day I find my little computer people engaging in autonomous actions that range from the mundane (browsing the web, calling the chidren to eat) to the sublime (listening to the sounds of nature, performing tai ching).
Yes, all on their own.
BUT, they still need me as friend, mentor, doctor and savvy shopper and they thank me many times during their short lifetime with personal emails that I look forward to every day.

I have also been playing this since It first came out and I found the same thing it slowly grew on me! I have now been thru two generations and just stated the third! Its not a game that you want to play for a long period of time more of a off and on type of game! I have no regrets on buying the game it still holds my attention. I liked it when parent would make the children brush there teeth or playing charades or the best story telling!

I was wondering the same thing. Mine are always exhausted too. I bought some multi-vitamines at the store and that didn't help any with the exhaustion either.

The way to put out the fires (oven, dryer) is to open the shed. the knob is in the sandbox and the key is under the doormat. Put your player in frount of the fire, then on the far left of the open shed, they will get the fire extinquisher and put out the fire. Bugs only come out when it's raining and most are small compared to coins., and the are all over the yard. Do NOT open a small box, they are full of ants and eat your food supply. To get the people to work on their careers, praise them alot while they are doing that, buy candy and fruit from the store. The plunger is in the laundry room (clogged drains) fixing sinks, shower, take person to leak, then to workshop, on the far left side in the middle by the bench. hope this helps.
