What items do you have in inventory?

There is no "read me" file in the "\Program Files\Time Stand Still" directory. So far on this game I can talk to two people and find a piece of paper on a coffee table at "home". I can't go anywhere, keep anything, read anything. I have no clue what to do with this game. Very frustrating.

What a HUGE waste of money. "Adventure" game? No, it seems more like a virtual house tour with really bad graphics. Boring boring boring.

I'm sorry to hear didnt like it. I have played all 3 Carol Reed games and thought they had great puzzles.

My inventory consists of: fishing pole w/gum, glass, flashlight, metal detector, key from note, floorplans, and photos

Crowbar help. I found the gardener finally. What is it I need to get the crowbar? Which section of lake is it in? right or left? Do I use the metal detector here?

Combine the metal detector with the fishing pole. look at the water when you exit the herb garden

prpldva, you have been a tremendous help. Thanks so much. I found it! I could still use some hints about the pocketwatch; and the letters on the wallet found in the secret place. I have the weird cutout card.

not sure how to help on the watch- you have to clear it to get to the photo

The 4 letter combination is someones nickname.....

prpldva: I figured that it is a nickname. But who's and where do I find that? I have had this game on my 'puter for 3 months. Really tired of it: can you really give me a huge spoiler so I can move on? Not sure about the watch. Do I have to turn it over every time I change a number?

The date you want to put in the watch is in the letter from the secret room- I dont remember what it is- it's a date of birth.

the code for the box you will get on the back of the photo from Adam- Elsy

As usual, thanks a million. Really bad without a cheat walkthrough for this game. It is so difficult to discover what one is to do next. Got the watch solved and the nickname. I think there is more to do at Adam's, but been everywhere in his apartment and nothing pops up. No one else to talk with, been back to everywhere no clues.

I know where the red clock is, it doesn't do anything.

you have to put the key in it.

You should google a walkthru for this. It might be easier for you.

Hi All,

I am stuck as usual here I am in Solziegs house andI have managed to shut off the radiator and I have gathered the Drinking glass, some keys and a picture of the parents, is there anything else I need in the house? Someone had mentioned the secret room, is this where it is? I have been outside and found the little locked storage place, I guess that what it is but, it will not let me go anywhere else outside. I have to go back in. And where do I find that map someone mentioned also?

Can someone PLEASE help me?? I'm trying desperately to find the crowbar!!

I have the metal detector on the fishing rod and I've spoken with the gardener but the rod/detector isn't working for me on the lake!!!!!

I gave up on this game about a month-and-a-half ago because of this stupid crowbar! I really, really want to finish the game. Could something be wrong with my downloaded version? I don't have the "bypass" option, either.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks!

Okay, I feel like a complete moron now! After hours of frustration, I realized that I was to the left of the tree when I guess I was supposed to click RIGHT of the tree!!

I knew that this would happen... I would finally post this, then a miracle would occur and I'd find that damned thing!!
