jmfarley wrote:Hey everyone,

I finished the game and I posted a review in the "point and click adventure fans" post here on the "Time Stand Still" forum. I included a few general tips there too. I can help if you need it.

Hi jmfarley....I've been trying to decide to use a coupon on this game and was just reading the posts. I'm a bit discouraged, but I also noticed that not one person said, "thank you" to you for your generous offer to help, along with the fact that you took the time to post a review in a forum. (I hope I can find it, lol).
I just wanted to tell you that I appreciate your being so nice as to try and help others with this game. Thanks so much!

I bought the game and strategy guide but I can't figure out how to use either one. I have been through the three locations at startup and tried to open the guide but I just can't get anywhere. This is the first time I have had a problem with Big Fish Games and the first time I have visited the forum. As I understand it, two computers are necessary. Why was this not mentioned when guide was shown for sale? I am ready to delete both game and guide from my list if no one has any idea as to how to play and access. Help!!!

Hi huntersgran- from what I've been reading, you can't have both open at the same time...

I believe what you need to do next in the game is look in the phonebook at Carol's place.

I hope this helps

I did not have both open at same time. When I tried to open the strategy page, all I got was the cover page. Also I could not open the phone book in the kitchen at Carol's place. So far all I was able to do was collect the glass, fill with water and water the basil.

Hmm- have you read the article on the table at Carol's?

OK, I get the mystery part and that it is an adventure and not everything is clear. But how do I save my progress. I can only play this game so long and I had to start over because it didn't save my progress. Juju

Yes, I saw that, thanks I wasn't sure if I had to save every place I've been or what? Found a web forum; fourfatchicks.com and they list three web sites with walkthroughs. They are Gamesover.com, Justadventure.com and Quandry.com. I printed the 27 page walkthrough and although I will only use it when I get stuck, It beats walkin' in the dark.

I'm still trying to get some help with this game.

None of the "hints" that you gave are of any use on my system. I am using windows xp on a five year old system. I am soo pisst with this game and BFG in general. I have told so many friends that this is the site that we should use, but now I'm not sure if I've given good advice. Contact me at ruth@britishbabe.us I need help!!

As this is your first post, I, personally have not given you any hints. If you could tell me what your game play issue is, maybe I can help. I recently finished, and much is still fresh in my mind.

If you need technical support, then you should contact them via the box on the lower right hand side of this screen. You should give BigFish the opportunity to help you before you get mad at them.

Hi laurah65- sorry to hear you are having difficulties. You should definitly contact customer support on this matter. I downloaded and played the game with no issues other than pulling my hair out on one of the puzzles.

To fix the radiator- you will need the coffee cup and the radiator key.

Ths coffee cup is in the kitchen and the radiator key in found in the drawer in the office/den. you will need another key to unlock this drawer. It is found behind a photo on the wall in the living room

This is a very difficult game. Not one that
is even fun to play. I agree with what everyone
is saying about this game. If you haven't
purchased this game don't waste your money.
If I cann't play a trial game first I won't but again!

Thank You! I got that darn radiator shut off, and I have gotten the key from the back of the photo, What is the purpose of the water glass in the kitchen other than to put water on the plants and also there was mentioned somewhere of a map and squeaky floorboards in a secret room. Are they in this house as well? Also the keys to the little locked door outside in the back yard?
