FINALLY ,I've finished it, the letters will turn green only when you guess whole word.The answer is: package on ice retrieve at port.

why isnt the form going into the mail container?? ive tried it and it doesnt work!


ok ive figured it out...but how do i send it? im in the room where the locked boxes are, and its in mail sender thingy. but it wont let me send it? do i need to repair something? pls help? ill love you forever and ever!?

moopsters, you do have to fix the pipe before you can mail the container. Go back to the room where you got the container. There is a section of pipe you can remove. Go back to other room and fix the pipe. Good Luck.

Argggghhh

I got the cryptogram solved...all letters are green at any rate. And now nothing happens and nothing will work.

When I take a hint, it circles the ST at the top of the puzzle...but nothing I do affects them.

I have the pen, ice pick and wrench (foot prints and fingerprints have already been found and used).

What now??

I love the game but this is frustrating <G>. I finally break down and use the hint and it is no help at all.

(btw, all the other pages tell me I need to explore other rooms to do anything...and the only active room won't let me do anything).

I (like many others) can't decipher the encryption no matter what I try!! I have even tried to reset the game from the begining a couple of times just in case I missed something.

The current encription clue gives DIAMOND = VSFAXWV and the Cryptogram page already has the E = X.

This does not make sence as E=X and O=X. This is obviously an error and I will never be able to solve the problem when 2 letters E and O = X.

Please can someone at BFG sort this out otherwise anyone who has bought the game has wasted our money on a game that is unsolveable.

I did get the cryptogram, and it's..........RETREIVE (spellcheck) PACKAGE OF ICE AT PORT, SOMETHING ALONG THOSE LINES, BUT FOR SURE RETRIEVE PACKAGE PORT ARE ALL RIGHT, THAT SHOULD GET YOU GOING THE 3 LETTER WORD ON FIRST LINE IS ICE, LAST WORD IS PORT

I don't seem to be able to get the letters to light up no matter what I do.

PLEASE HELP!!

I found the ice in the galley on the table. I used the ice pick on it and found the necklace, but still find a key anywhere. HELP!

You have to give sherlock the necklace and he will give you the key. My problem is the form on the desk. Every time I go to check it Titus tells me I can't write on it. I thought I had everything.

New to forums & trying to figure out if this is a technical error with the game or if I am jsut missing something...

Once solved it appears you can accidentally re-open the cryptogram & I can't figure out how to close it to access the background image. I finished the cryptogram once and then I accidentally clicked on it again and now it is stuck open.
Is there a secret to re-closing the cryptogram that I am missing.

#CountyLaugh, welcome to the Fish Pond. If I remember correctly, there is a VERY TINY x ... in the top right corner of the paper. If that's not the problem, let me know and I'll check my game notes.
