Per Azada 2…reinstalling for the relaxed option:
I uninstalled first through the game manager then reinstalled from my purchase history…the game opens without the relaxed option.
Then, I uninstalled a second time through the WinXP control panel then reinstalled again from the purchase history and still no relaxed mode.
However, I installed the game on my Vista laptop for the first time and it has both modes.
Any info?
Thanks!
(The above info was sent to tech support.)
Update:
Fixed as noted below!

Hi again
Here's what I did. Reintall the game and you have to start a new game to find the relaxed mode option. It worked that way.

Thanks...that's it!
(too bad it doesn't apply to an existing game)

I purchased Azada before the upgrade. I don't mind the timed mode. Will the new upgrade give you the option from switching from Timed mode to relaxed mode and vice versa?
I don't want to upgrade yet until I know whether or not I can play in both modes.
The option is available when creating a new player but you can't switch back and forth as that player.

cesse47 wrote:wolfrun, you may need to adjust the cursor speed on your mouse slightly. I've had no issues with this. Have heard a few others that have had similar problem. If it continues, I'd recommend you check with Tech Support. They are absolutely awesome. However, with a major launch, they get tremendously busy so response time is probably 72+ hours.
...good luck.
Adjusting the cursor speed does not work.
It's possible that Azada's just eating up a lot of your CPU speed. If I have too many programs open (like Firefox + Winamp + Trillian + Azada) then it slows down the game a little. Just enough to be annoying.
Or maybe I just need a new laptop with better than 1.3ghz!

Love Azada.... both games!
Keep up the good work.
Love solving the 'mysteries' and the fact that I can get hints when needed to 'push' me along. To me, an excellent game is one I can figure out all by myself with a few moments of self-doubt leading to puzzling things out. Both games are 'logical' and easier to follow than many in this genre. Relaxed mode is great, timed modes better when more familiar with game.

etherian wrote:I re-installed to get this relaxed mode version and I think there is a glitch in The Detective Book. I have the fingerprints, pen and footprints. According to the forums, I show the prints to the detective and then apply them to the repairman in the kitchen. I have tried to do this and all that happens is that I lose time. I'm unable to apply the prints and can't get any further in this book.
Anyone else run into this?
It's not the prints you show to him, but the comparisons.
Put the foot prints on the workman's boots. This will compare them. He will then turn towards you. Click the fingerprints on his hand to compare them. Then take the comparisons to Holmes
I hope this helps
