**WOOF** ... from the dogfish *fin waves*
... Hi ya'll. lots of dogs growing up. Unfortunately, became highly allergic to them in my 20's. I have one daughter and one granddaughter. They make up for me because they have six dogs ... plus two puppies.
...granddaughter was gifted with a Jack Russel / Blue Tick mixed puppy. Extremely smart dog. She started showing her in 4H. Then, daughter rescued a long haired Chihuahua mix. Grand fell in love with Goldens so they purchased a male AKC puppy and a female ADC puppy from a different litter. She wins Showmanship #1's with the male. She won #1 in class and Best in Trial with the female. the male is stunning and the female is gorgeous ... she has a waiting list for puppies and sells them for $800 to $1000 apiece. unreal. At 17, she finances her dogs entirely, and pays for maintenance, and insurance on her car. good girl!!
...Just recently they aquired two Shih Tzu puppies, one male and one female, with the intention of breeding and selling one litter of puppies before spaying the female. They told me the female was pregnant and were really pleased about it. Puppies were born on 4th of July weekend and they brought pictures to show me at grand's dog show. Cute puppies, I said, but are you sure the male is the dad?
...Well yes they said. Once she was in heat, we never let her outside, even with the fence, unless she was on a leash. One of us always took her out. OK, I said.
...Got a call from daughter ... she said "as much as I hate to admit it, you were right".
Turns out the male golden loved on her first!! I laughed so hard!! Told her to get set for 100's of phone calls. She was very puzzled and said Why? Because, when you put the ad in the paper, the first two words will be: golden shiz

He paces the floor when his "daddy" is gone and it is storming outside but when daddy's home, he's a happy boy and just as calm as can be. What a goofball but we love him to death!
yes i totally understand! On of my old dogs used to do that.
