Hi, I ask to chime in for the "Timer Optional" versions of everything. I love the timer, but there are a lot of games my mother will not buy because she cannot play timed games. She's 77 and loves computer games but cannot think as quickly any more. If given time, she does extremely well. This improves her outlook on life. I don't know how difficult it is to add this option but I believe it would be more than repaid by the extra sales.

*nods* I appreciate the reply and I do get it. I am very much encouraged that at least Big Fish gets this and obviously, given you are a MAJOR player in casual game distributors, I would imagine your requests carry some weight. Clearly, given the market for casual games, at least of the type where time is not a major mechanic of game play, the developers that wish to be successful will realize that a bit more coding to add relaxed mode (that phrase alone is telling, no? ) will result directly in more sales.

We need to keep requesting, all us "Relaxed Mode" folk, and request such directly to developers as well. Granted Azada was a Big Fish developed thing (BF Europe, yeah?) and so the decision to change it was more direct, but Rooms and Mystery Chronicles I believe were other developement companies, and they added Relaxed after release, so we are being heard. Just need to keep up the good fight and get these clever developer folks to see reason.

I purchased the game when it first came out and have still not managed to complete it in fact I got so fed up I 'binned' it. It has now been reinstalled and I have got two cheats to help me and am still struggling, the games are great but I just do not have the necessary time to finish them and at 70 years old I really may not have the time so please Big Fish put a timer option in.

I couldn't agree more. I have uninstalled Azada and will not purchase Ancient Magic. I really don't need extra stress-related adrenalin pumping around in my body. I want to solve the puzzles, not have to start from the beginning over and over because I'm just not fast enough. Azada I makes me feel stupid and slow. I just don't need the aggravation!
I understand that Ancient Magic has an optional timer, but the only way to complete that game is to first complete Azada I. Yep. My nephew bought both games. For some reason (hey, he's a kid) he tried Ancient Magic first, and he says that there's a code from a completed Azada I that you have to have in order to get past a certain point in Ancient Magic.
I feel that BFG has made two big marketing mistakes. Number one: no optional timer in Azada I. Number two: You can't complete Ancient Magic unless you first complete Azada 1. What a shame. They ruined to games to make a couple of extra bucks.

Actually I did a search on here for the code to enter in the 2nd Azada as I did not complete the first one due to the same frustration that other players have experienced. Some of the puzzles are hard enough without having to deal with a timer too. I like the suggestions that have been put forth on this forum about adding different levels and an optional relaxed mode. It is good to see so many older players on here; even though I have a ways to go before I get there myself.

Please BigFish I also add my voice in asking for a relaxed mode to the games.

Thanks,

Linda

I love both games but please get timer removed on Azada, so I can finish it.

Kudos for including the combination for the safe in the Strategy Guide for Azada: Ancient Magic. Needing the code from the first game (which is beyond me to complete due to the timer constraints) was a cruel twist by the developers,

Let's keep each the game play in each game independent of any others unless it is clearly stated in the information available prior to purchase.

Well, I'm "only" 45, but I sure do hate timers in games like this! Part of it is that I have two kids and a husband that mistakenly believe I can do these difficult puzzles and listen to them at the same time I often end up distracted and have to start over. I also prefer to take my time so I don't have to skip things.

I don't like being penalized for being dense! lol As far as Azada is concerned, I HATE that I have to start over with all the puzzles if time runs out! I'm stuck right now on one that is making me consider shelving this game and starting something different. I've combed the forum for an answer and have found none. Without enough time to think it through, I'm getting very frustrated.

I wholeheartedly agree. I loved Azada but deleted it without finishing it because of the timer and a real hard puzzle towards the end. I almost did cartwheels when the second one came out with a no timer option. As I've played more games, I've learned the hard way not to buy games that don't let me turn the timer off.

And, folks, watch out for games that are coming out now that don't have a timer when you play the demo, but then when you get further into the game, you suddenly find yourself being timed. Mean Girls is an example, and I have read on the forum of it happening with another game or two. I forgot which ones, but let's warn each other when that happens!

I DO NOT HUMBLY PLEAD, I DEMAND TIMER OPTIONAL GAMES !!!!

There some puzzles that I never played before, but have to quit, because of a darn timer.

I like BF, but I thought it was more customer oriented than this.
Like many people before me, I bought Azada Ancient Magic, LOVED IT and only because of this, I purchased this game.
It has great puzzles, but what is the point of skipping QQQ

I'm with all of you on this. I hate games that are timed and I especially don't like being punished for making a mistake. I want total relaxation when playing a game and don't like to have to rush through it. I, like a lot of you, enjoyed Azada 2 and that's why I purchased Azada. Please, please take that timer off!!!

to everything you wrote.
I got caught up in the idea that it would be so much more fun to play 'Azada' without being timed, forgot what you wrote above and bought the damn thing. The good news I guess is that now I know that I need a code. The bad news is I'll probably have to either give up on both games or find a crack for the code; not my favorite way to be ABLE to play a game I paid money for.

I am at half way with Azada 1. Cannot finish it because of the odious timer. I add my voice to plead with whoever is in charge. Please get a relaxed mode in this game, which is very good, but quasi impossible to finish for some of us (a lot, I would say). It seems it is not so difficult to get a relaxed mode in a game, is it? It was done with Azada II, which I DID finish. Tks a million!

After getting used to the timed missions in Guild Wars: Factions, getting past the timers was not such an issue to me, with the exception of the Towers of Hanoi Puzzles. Ended up using the skip orbs on those. Just too hard for me, I guess, plus the misclicks on the room puzzles where not much help either. I'm a pretty easy going person, but I sure would have liked to stop the clock on certain puzzles. I do want to keep playing the games, tho, cause I want to see what crazy mess Titus gets himself into next.
