For me, it always crashes when I click on specific squares. For example, graveyard 1 by the small tree by the fence with graveyard 2. If I do not try to engrave a toomstone there, it does not crash. In graveyard 2 there is another spot NW, also near a tree. I keep on looking.

And the game saves each morning, so after a crash, it returns to the beginning of the day. I hope this helps.

Exactly the same for me.

Don't know if this will help anyone else with getting this game to run but here goes. Firstly, when you delete the old game be sure to use your "Windows" uninstall. Here's where it gets interesting though. I noticed each and every time I deleted the game, the history of the initial game would remain. Well, I never did chase where the game's history resided. No matter. BUT what I did do is begin a brand new game, ignoring the old game which I had initially begun with. With one more final uninstall / install, I began anew and have not seen one flitter, stutter, crash or crumble yet. Am keeping my fingers crossed here. Pretty neat, hey?! That is, how I am able to cross all my fingers and type at the same time.

I find the game crashes when I am trying to engrave a tombstone through the leaves of the trees. So what I have been doing is to use the axe to chop down the tree so there are no leaves. Seems to work so far for me and the price is the same for the grave. And the tree grows back after a few game days.

I guess I can consider myself lucky that I haven't had all of these problems with the game. My only problem is that the mausoleums have all reduced to rubble. Is that a part of the game or a quirk? I was wondering if the dead guy in there turned into a super zombie when I wasn't looking. Because I did catch a glimpse of some super-zombie that came running at me and then I went to sleep like being hit by a ghost

it does not work still

I am very dissapointed. I played the game almost up to the end. Now I only have to earn 80.000 Dollars to the end. And now, there is an BIG BUG. First, one grave is only "reserved" and the customer gets angry, that there is no path to it. But there is one (even more then one!). So the first customers are leaving, but then the next one will lead to a crash. He will say his text (that there is no path) and then the game "ends".

I tried to ignore this customer, serve other ones, what worked, but at the next day, after automatic saving, the game will crah without doing anything. As this is my last and one savegame, the game is crashing with every start of the old game. I uninstalled the game and installed the new version, but the only effect is, that it is getting startet but my mr jones is freezed, or better, it lookes like he is all the time switching between going by foot and this little tractor. Everything else is moving, but not mister jones. Also I can't get out of the game, not one button is working, only scrolling is possible.

Please excuse my english, I'm from germany and not a fluent speaker.

I would like to give a BIG Thank You for this game. Yes, it does have all of the above mentioned problems, but I just love playing it. I hope you will continue to tweak it and that there will be a sequel to it.

Because I bought Graveyard Shift a few weeks ago, I assume that it's the new version. It's surprising to me that so many folks are having trouble with the program. Mine has never crashed. Sometimes a few of the word windows flash a bit after using them but it is over quickly and I move on. Also, I always have to shut down my pc in order to close the game. That's not crashing....I don't think. Perhaps after using computers for 30 years, I'm just more accustomed to the quirks of the beast. Who knows? All in all, I really like this game.

Cat.

Well, this may not be pleasing information for some of you but, I have to say that I'm doing fine with the initial version of graveyard shift. When I'm ready to save and quit, it freezes so, I save the game and then reboot my pc. It works for me. Also, If I have a problem, it's usually me so I figure it out and move on. Granted, there is a lot to remember so it's easy to trip over yourself.

Your input on the new version was very helpful. I think I'll stick with the old edition and continue to enjoy the game. Thanks, folks!

Cat
