I'm playing expert in everything except the one that has the little pictures of the bird, butterfly, mushroom, etc. Probably won't like that part of redrum either. darn!! Thanks for the update. ...though I was hoping for: WOW buy it now!!!

Oh, geez. I didn't mean to insinuate that they were illegal sites. Not at all. It's just that they load so much crap in the downloads that it messes with my PC. I stick with BFG 80% of the time and then two other sites I comfortably trust.

That's ok don't worry i wasn't offended Oh blimey i'm a yukkie squid now

So this game is about fifty-fifty on who likes it and who doesn't. Now if only it would make an appearance for those of us who don't beta or get invited to beta.

Maybe within the next month? That would be nice.

I got an invite to Beta test Redrum and just finished. I really liked this game and will buy it if it comes to BFG. If not, I'll buy if it goes on sale elsewhere ... not willing to pay $20 for any game.
...It has both a relaxed and timed mode. I chose relaxed. Read every page, really looked at every page. The story reading is very important in this game. I did not skip the intro ... it is one of the creepiest I've ever seen and sets the tone for the story.
...Positives: not your typical hidden object game. the story is very good and well integrated into the game. has relaxed vs timed modes so players have a choice. have the ability to get extra hints. has many items to find that are not standard. Screens are varied: story, hidden objects, sillouhette, find 20, find and match tiles.
...Negatives: had 2-3 items that had to be clicked in the right area but don't get penalized in untimed mode that I could see. Biggest negative is that it seems to be a short game ... If you take your time and read everything and really look at each screen, it will probably take about 4 hours or so.
...I really like this game and plan to buy it.

If you take away the story from this game, it is just another boring same-o same-o HO game with basically one mini game which I hated. Nothing new in game play and it's very easy (I had 50 hints saved up at 1/2 way through). I finished 1/2 of the game in just over an hour (including all the reading). I don't think I want to pay money just to read/see a creepy story.

Story, pictures, graphics, sound.
Game play. Challenge. Length of game.

Just a side note to the Beta testers......

I don't think you are supposed to give out detailed info about a game you have Beta tested. I think a general description/opinion is Ok, but not too much detail about what's in the game.

ok i did the beta test thing at the G spot.the game was too easy, but the graphics were great and like above the mini games very repeticious.they also had me test the new slingo supreme...pretty fun when your not playing **** games.if they could make redrum a little harder i may buy...not for kids.

Beta tested this game, and as the warning states it is a very dark game, in my opinion not for kids. And it does repeat a lot. Have not decided on this one

For someone like me who really likes a lot of story AND a RELAXED MODE (yea!) this one is a winner. Yep, it's on the easy side and the match the squares thing is a bit hohum, but good enough for me with creepy graphics (how can ya not love a boney hand cursor? ) Whenever I'm faced with a match the squares I just think of it as brain excercise, which I understand really does help us stay sharper as we age, and honey, I need me some of that! I appreciate that each ghost or case or whatever you want to call it has it's own unique scenes, not repeats. I like it!

Anyway, bought it.

not bad in my opinion. I liked the relaxed mode - only problem was in seeing some of the really small items and those on the edges of the screen - but hints were plentiful.

will probably add this one to the collection
