Hidden Expedition - Devil's Triangle comments and reviews

I don't see ANY "fullscreen" on the Options panel. I always check there. Is it possible that the game requires a larger resolution than my 1280x800 before it offers a windowed mode? (that wouldn't work for me either except on weekends, because then I wouldn't be able to READ those notifications popping up)

Hi Lordkalvan, you are right, it seems that option is not available in the final version. Not sure why they decided to take that out.

Purchased right away this morning. Am having a wonderful time playing. Music is not annoying so have left it on. Graphics are great. I've enjoyed the mini-games ... spent a LOT of time on one because I couldn't figure out what to do for the longest time. Finally closed the game and got a cup of coffee, read a few posts, etc. When I went back to the game, it "clicked" and I knew how to solve the puzzle. LOL

Love it, love it, love it.

I know I'm going to love this game BUT it seems very slow to move. I changed the cursor (curser...) to the regular arrow and it improved slightly. Not quite sure if I should un and re-install. Loved all Hidden Expeditions so far so I will buy if it speeds up at all.

I download the Demo but I can't play it when I arrived on the Isdland they returned on the begining and I can't play the demo, it stuck on the begining
I hope your understand what I mean because I am a french woman and I don't speak english very well.

I am moving along and enjoying. i just got to the top of the cliff and opened the door. For some silly reason I tend to make things harder than they are. I fiddled with that door for a few min. before i realized how easy it was to open - LOL!

OTOH, getting the elevator going was like pulling teeth. Even when I broke down and looked at the walkthrough I had trouble with that letter. I was quite dense with that for some reason then all at once I understood and solved it (what a dummy).

I am with Poodle on the minis, I could use a little more info on what is to be done. I want to solve them but sometimes I just don't get it and the Hint doesn't really give a Hint, it solves the puzzle and leaves me scratching my head as to how it was done. I guess that increases the Replay Value

anybody else having a problem playing this game, it's slow and my cursor isn't working , time delay .... weird, i've got bigger games on my pc that play fine

I'm enjoying the game, however, if you do one of the mini games incorrectly, (for instance, fixing the power coupler or the escape pod is put together in the wrong order) the game sort of refuses to let you fix it and you must start over. Have tried the hint button, but nothing.

you will find that your demo has finished. you have to buy the full version.
I am downloading at the moment and it is taking a long time.

At midnight I saw that it was here and I pushed the Buy Now button with no hesitation.
I love the Hidden Expedition games. I'm having a wonderful time( currently working on the elevator). I'm off to fix an elevator or call Otis. Have fun fishies.

I just finished, the 5 thumbs holds up.
Fabulous graphics, great sound, great voice actors, plenty of quirky humor, difficulty-medium,
and those sly dogs put in a cliffhanger, at least until spring, I can't wait.

well can't save and it keeps deleting my new profle. I think the game and computer hate each other. I wonder if anyone else is having this issue?.

If it doesn't save your new profile, then it sounds like Vista has a problem with user permissions. Some other games with that problem work if you run them "as administrator". Worth trying at any rate.

Based on the demo, this is a fantastic game. Loved having to think about what to do next and not be led by the nose. There was just enough guidance for me. The graphics and music are wonderful, creating an environment I wanted to immerse myself in. I agree that the Hidden Expedition games are getting better and better. Will be buying this today!

Another great Hidden Expedition game. Graphics are clear and the music is not annoying. I love journal entries, they make me laugh. I also liked the fish. Thank you BF for another great game!

Just checked my Options and NO windowed option to click! Ambience and Sound slide options and Cursor choice, that's all I can see.

ETA: I wish the hint button on mini games didn't solve the puzzle; just want help, a little info.
