I am so frustrated...I've tryed and tryed to pass but its just too hard
I've posted some basic tips, and updated them today... there's also a thread on France and Ancient China.
You may have chosen a different world for your first level though, so you have to let us know which one you're on ... it's location I mean ... in order for us to help you.

I started with France because I'm not a big fan of the "de-icer" on upper levels--it takes away one slot from each of the icers and slows things down!!
I think I went to England second because Robin Hood and the witches make me crazy!!!
For the same reason, I went to Egypt next. Stayed there for a loooooong time but eventually got out thanks to that wonderful person who posted the tip under "impossible?" thread . . . (THANKS!!) Managed to earn enough to get out of there.
Got LOTS of money in the prehistoric level by upgrading toppers to get the volcano, then bashing a line with the club and making them all buy double cakes with volcanoes!!!
Armed with all of that, I headed to China and found it to be pretty easy, up to the last level. Of course, by this time, I had a gold kitchen . . . The last level, however, is going to take a while to get through . . . I missed the goal by a whole lot on my first run through . . .
I agree, though, that this one is just too hard to be really fun. You ought to be able to replay earlier levels to make enough money to upgrade your kitchen along the way. Not being able to do that gets you totally stranded with no choice but to start over or go back to a much earlier saved level to change your upgrade strategy or "cheat" by saving after a failure to earn money (see thread mentioned earlier). While a challenge is good, there's just got to be a less frustrating way to get by it.

I think the level difficulty does depend on what gates you go through first.
It certainly is the hardest cake mania so far...and is so frustrating....I like to play these games to unwind...but find I am getting so frustrated by it ..... but it is very addictive and keep thinking one more go.
It is also frustrating how long it takes to load each section
Good luck!
You're right, lizzziee! Very good y'r on 4.6.

Agreed. I can't get futher than 3.11 either; have not entered world 4 yet.. hic..

Hello... I've played this game several ways...the way I got all red stars in the main game (not futuristic level) & upgraded equipment the fastest was to start with the prehistoric level. The game seems to give Jill more clients and have them appear faster on this level, slow moving Jill doesn't have to walk far on this level and you can use the club when client counter is full on all clients except cave man and make triple layer cakes if no toppers have been acquired yet.
I then chose Egypt as Jill can stay open longer by activating Horus.
I don't buy the phone as that $500 can easily be made by buying toppers and equipment.
I buy only the first TV and upgrade to the wide-screen until almost the very end as it only seems to maintain the clients patience a small fraction longer... however there was one level late in the game I couldn't receive a red star on until I purchased the wide-screen.
The only BASIC item I purchase is one topper and the TV, I purchase the 2nd/pink level on all other equipment, save my money and then jump purchase to GOLD on the remaining equipment.
I then chose China, had GOLD equipment by the end of this level except 1 froster, 1 oven and the drink dispenser.
I then chose England (still don't understand the crystal ball very well).
I chose France last as Jill receives a double counter line PLUS Marquis de Cake (red coated male, not burgundy coated) periodically appears with an unearned sugar rush.
Hope this helps or gives you different strategies to attempt.

- Serve Anubis first so that he doesn't turn your customers into mummies (changing their orders as a result). Don't give anyone a menu when he's there, so that he can't change their order Only hand out menus and prepare cakes after he's left the building.
- Egyptian Queens always order a second cake after you've delivered the first, so try to get to her quickly.
- Use the "Ra's gift" bonus, which will add time to your clock. Once per level, used while you have many difficult cakes is when this is best used. Can appear as a black cat, or pharaoh.
Your such a sweet, thx for the tips. If there was somekind of BFG Oscars, think you'll get the award for all your useful tips
