I am just wondering what does updating Shockwave have to do with the game running like it should? Not being a smart alec, just trying to find out what truly is wrong with the game as everyone is having different things they do to make it work and sometimes that doesn't help. Any advice? If you are getting a access violation you need to up-grade you video and graph card.
A older computer can't read some of these new games. I have had the same problem.
I solved my problems with a new computer with a killer graphs card. The service dept
did try to help me, we even upgraded my old card but it wasn't enough. Good luck

I to had the black screen and my puter would lock up. Recently installed some new software that required "microsoft.net framework" to be installed. just for the heck of it I again installed bermuda traingle and low and behold it now works. The only thing I can figure the new version of framework made the difference. Free download from ms.
