Hello everyone! I just thought I’d pop in and let you know that I’ve gone ahead and moved this discussion to the forum that we have set up for Cassandra's Journey: The Legacy of Nostradamus.

Happy gaming!

"prophesies of nostradamus" Unscrambling the cards is becoming a problem. I have skipped thru one of the puzzles but it bothers me when I can't figure it out. There are no helpful hints and this is becoming a problem with alot of games that I play. For instance "return to ravenhurst" is AWESOME, but I got so stuck on one level and I could not get out. I wish someone could help with the unscrambling of the cards. If anyone out there got them unscrambled please let me in on the secret. (orchidchild9@gmail.com). Many thanks in advance.--Missy9

They are illusions, in the card trick for example, none of the cards you see first are in the one you see second.

I knew how the card game works but how does the magic crystal ball work?
The symbols correspond to a number that can be changed each round.

thanks

Yes! The words "lame" and "boring" kept coming to mind. If I was about 10 years old and seeing all the card tricks for the first time I *might* have liked it better, but 10 was a long, long, LONG time ago ... There are much more intriguing games to be found in the pond.

I'm so glad that I read the comments here. I can't even get past the first scene, because in the Mac version, it won't pick up some of the objects. I click on, for example, the "i" and the "n" in "ring" and they just sit there. The "g" picked right up, as did the teddy bear. It's too buggy to be enjoyable. So if it's also boring...not a loss, then, huh?

I DO appreciate the fact that we can test it before buying. Imagine paying for this dud without trying it first!

I, too, can't get past the first scene and I'm on a Mac. Clicking on clues doesn't do anything.

Well if slow play is in any way linked to SLOW DOWNLOAD I'm about to give up. I'm on high speed cable and have had long file games load 10 times faster than this. Hope it is worth the wait, read somewhere there was a rebuild correcting some of the issues mentioned last year when first released so giving it a shot.

Hoped it is a sleeper bargain on daily deal but so far wish I had chosen tomorrow's' game first to demo. This is ridiculous. Does it make a difference loading if we all jumped on it once? It's only 76mb for gosh sakes. And I got nothing else running, it's on my Vista laptop, am having to type on pc now, read the news, did some email, read some threads....still waiting......

Anyone on dialup forget it.

Later

I just DL'd and had no problems. Was a little iffy on the purchase because of the negative posts but for $2.99, I gotta have my HOG's. The artwork looked pretty. I never demo the daily deals as I just don't have the time so if it's a bummer, I'm not out much.

I demo'd it this morning and it DL really fast. I think I'll try playing without enhanced curser because it really is slow in the game play. Guess I just want to move it along alittle faster. Still haven't decided if I want to get it even though it's on sale

I got it to play fast (normal speed ) on Vista laptop by deselecting custom cursor, and unchecking the visual options it says to do if a slower computer. Tried windowed but wouldn't maximize, small picture, so switched it back to full screen, returned to full screen (wide 15") and it is running fine.

Downloaded also on desktop with XP, older computer, not as fast as laptop but oddly didn't need tweaking at all, runs great.

Only thing, I had an activation error when I bought it. Said there was a problem, try again later. But I just went on to game manage, clicked the game and it was installed and activated just fine, played a couple levels to test.

So I'm getting to where I'm just ignoring a lot of these error alerts, seem to be false.

Very interesting user friendly game, am enjoying it now. It's different and once running normally, not a big brain teaser, just fun. And lists change for replays, big plus!

I think it is a very good deal for $2.99. I already had it and have played it and enjoyed it. Not my favorite game but still a good one in my opinion.

Ok, I bought it and am now playing without the enhanced cursor. It plays just fine now and didn't do anything else.

Someone had a question about the crystal ball where the numbers can be changed. The symbol changes each time to those certain numbers. It's a math thing, but it's not real fortune telling LOL

Wow you're observant. I couldn't figure out how they did that.

I had no problems downloading or playing the game and I have already purchased it and I'm enjoying it so far. I'm glad it was offered today. Now only one to buy before the end of the day to get my free game.
