Tell me about it. . . . gave up & bought most of them, though ran out of crystals before finishing (it works out cheaper than buying the charges to take care of the ninja)

Yes, I noticed that Sho-San (formerly known as Ce-cah ) is rather stingy with those black swords . I reminded myself that there are still 6 days, so for now I'll keep searching for more Optical Prisms. I've found they're also dropping in other rooms .. Water Mill, Gazebo of Mysteries, Japan and Venice.
Wanted to add that I've edited my earlier post to report that the giftable charges are now available in the Select a Gift inventory. So you can gift them to your neighbours even without a wishlist.

I see that those of you who logged into the game earlier than I did today had lots of fun trying to figure out the quest - unless you spoke Russian. I'm almost sorry I missed out on the head scratching!
I, too, am finding the throwing sticks difficult to come by. After helping Sho-san 53 times I was rewarded with only 18 sticks. Sad drop rate but the 5 experience points are nice and there's six days to gather the rest.
Nice to have a new offer!

Getting those swords is a pain in the rear. Either use up a lot of summon creature cards or simply buy the swords with crystals (Around 68 for the lot, btw)....
At least with the throwing sticks, I can use gold to buy the Mechanical Pigeons to use at the neighbors.

Is there a dragon expedition for this offer?

Yes, it appears there is a very hungry dragon Ichiro who needs 24,000 in food and can be fed 45 times. This is from helping neighbors and I think the exp is open for 2 hours but I don't know how long the Shipyard is open to search. Perhaps someone can add that info?

I came into the thread to see if I was the only one having trouble getting the swords. I guess not! - This is one of the reasons that I didn't do the Events before now. All this summoning and helping to no avail! It's very discouraging!

An FYI - I have been getting crystals in ghost mode (venice) every time. And per usual custom, the swords are dropping when the quest to get them comes up. (3 out of 4 today, 0 for 4 yesterday)
Curious on the room experience if anyone can share. Chest info would be cool too

5 bells, phase watches, solar lamps, & icy magnifying glasses

How is exploration of the room? Hard? Easy? Thanks!

The room itself wasn't too hard and items drop pretty quickly. Don't need the whole 4 hours to get it done--unless you take multiple breaks like I did...
Good Luck and Happy Hunting!

I was going to buy the swords I need but decided not to after looking at the chest contents. IMHO, it's not worth spending more than a few crystals on. You'd think the drop rate would be better for the chest contents

Here is some info on the Shipyard Quest.
Items were not that difficult to find once you get used to what they looked like.
Toughest item for me was the Chain.
Did not use talismans, used taro cards to change to correct mode, chased away some unwanted phenomena. Completed quest in ~2 hours.
Poltergeist = any phenomena (did not test this until the last required poltergeist, so I assume it's the same for all earlier required poltergeists)
Need to chase poltergeist before assembling 2nd artifact.
The following are Item to Find, Mode and # of tries for me
Grey Wig, any, 2
Master Keys, Jumbled, 1
Cleaners Badge, any, 4
Folded Robe, Night, 2
Rubber Galoshes, any, 2
Hips, Dismantled, 1
Rare Onion, any, 2
Valerian Root, Reversed, 3
Chestnut Flour, any, 5
Porcelain Teapot, Shadows, 4
